over the years, I've met many people.
I have lost contact with some of them.
there are others I don't remember anymore.

Same here but once a year I usually send an email to everyone in my address book to see if they're still using the same email or not.

Those that come back mailer daemon get deleted. Those that don't respond also get deleted. Sadly, most that come back or don't respond are usually because they're no longer here or in a nursing home.  :'(
