Same here. Mine like to bark at every person that walks by, car that drives by, and especially whenever someone knocks on the door. Can get very annoying.

Me as well .. I love my rescued shepherd mix .. got him at 6 months but he already had insecurities.  He is a barker and pees on the basement floor every time you leave the house ... still trying to find a way to break him of that habit.

Besides that .. he is a great dog .. you couldn't ask for a more loyal friend

Yes, I do know what you mean. Having a dog is great when someone knocks on my door whom I do not know, he is right there beside me looking intimidating and gruff. But when he looks out the bedroom window and barks at a poodle walking by, I get a bit annoyed. It seems there is no discrimination between dogs.

Love them like there's no tomorrow.  I miss mine, the annoying times and all.   Their lives are so much shorter than ours, so make EVERY day a GREAT play day!!!

I definitely do prefer dogs to most people even when they are annoying.

:dog:Dogs are adorable but I couldn't own one. Too needy and hyperactive for me. I prefer a more mellow pet like a cat that just taps you on the shoulder when they want to be petted and go away  :silly:

I love my dogs, have 5, ranging from 75 pounds to 8 pounds.  At times they can be annoying, but I wouldn't give them up for anything!

My dog is my baby!  But, she can be very aggravating when she hears a noise outside and starts barking!  She will not stop until you show her there is nothing outside!

I'm more of a cat person.  My family had two cats that lived to ages 17 and 19 years old, and they were just like members of our family!  So I can understand the love a person has for his pet.
