I 'm looking forward to more time on the beach and cookouts with family and friends.

This is my birthday month although because of health issues I don't feel as happy about that as usual - I am 61 going on 62 and usually even at this age I get excited about my birthday. It is toward the end of the month so I'm sure the closer it gets the happier I get so I'm sure I'll get out of the doldrums by then. :present:

Our family reunion was Saturday and wish the bathroom was closer to the pavilion. It must be 1000 feet away or more and it exhausted me to walk there and back with my plantar fasciitis on the good left foot and knee problem on the right leg. :sweat:

You know you're getting old when your cousins talk to you about their health problems...and they're 15-20 years younger than I am! So I feel like I"m pretty healthy! :D

This is the hottest month here in Texas. It reached 100 yesterday and will get up to 102 sometime this week. Love the AC! Of course the electric bills are highest right now. Have to sweat a little. But it will soon be over and comfortable again. Fall is great for temps. BMaston12

Post by: vickysue on August 03, 2015, 02:42:49 pm: Time is moving so fast. Kids here start to school August 17th. Yea hubby goes back to work. Don't get me wrong I love him but 24/7 is hard. It has been so hot here and we have having a lot of rain on top of it. Here it is the 3rd. of August and we have already had over 3" of rain. The air is so humid and the weeds just keep popping up to be pulled and or mowed down. I am ready for a little bit of cool weather. The AC'S run all day long. But the nights cool down quite a bit.

As I have found out, more babies are born in August than in any other month.
