Your first three on the list are our three top stores also. Have never heard of Busch or Hertland in this area. On occasion we pick up a few groceries at Target, but it is a limited grocery selection, not a full blown supermarket. There are also a few smaller independent markets, but they cannot compete with the others' prices.

I shop at Walmart most of the time. It is the cheapest and I have to stretch my money. I also shop at Kroger. They are the most convenient. I do shop their sales too. I do $ store shopping too. Mostly for things that cost a $. Other stores charge more. BMaston12

We only have Walmart. Nothing else except "local" grocery store. All the big stores are 30-50 miles away. I used to being to Sam's until Walmart built here. Stores like Shop-Rite, Target, Sam's, Vanity Fair, Pier One, Acme, A&P, you name it - they're all too far away for us to get there anymore.
In fact, we're losing mall stores left and right. Sears and K-Mart just closed-Sears in Dec. and K-Mart last month. They were the last of long-time stores (Sears since the early '40s in a town) and K-Mart at least 20 years. We have a Kohl's here for a couple years but I'm sure they'll be gone soon. One gigantic mall is 3/4 empty and can't seem to fill up their spaces. It's a shame because there were some big name franchises there, even Chik-A-Fila (sp). They left a few years ago. No more Hill's, Ames, Value City, etc.
I do most of my shopping online now with some stores since I can't get the items locally. I feel like I'm living back in the '60s again.

I live in a small town and out grocery store is so over priced, have the only game in town and a lot of people cannot drive 80 miles one way to shop at Walmart or Albertsons. The only reason I can shop there is I have to drive that far to see my doctor. Sometimes when I have to go to another specialist I have to drive 167 one way and get a motel room. So I will stop and shop at Walmart on the way home again. There is a new Sam's being built in another close town 120 miles from us,It is a straight shot in on the freeway and I will go to it once in a while. I save up for it and will buy a lot of things in bulk just to save. Man it hurts living ina small town that is getting smaller by the month,

My favorite place to grocery shop is Food Lion. It is less than a mile from my house and using my MVP card I save on my grocery bill. Sometimes if I am at the Wal-Mart, I will shop there.
-

Usually at Walmart, but at times I like to shop at Publix, if I see Walmart doesn't have items I need.
-
I do most of my shopping at Walmart or Krogers. However, we have a small locally owned grocery store close to our house that we buy most of our meats from since they have a meat market. I've never bought much meat at Walmart and Krogers is a little high.

My husband and I used to shop at WalMart and Crest, but the Crest near our home has gone downhill (as far as the clientele) over the last few months, and we prefer WalMart now.
-
I live in a small, rural town so there is not that much choice. I do most of my grocery shopping at HEB. I do some shopping at Walmart but not as much as I used to.
-
I love to shop BJ. The employees are very nice and helpful..
-
Aldi's
-
I basically go to Meijer, Kroger or Walmart. We don't have that many Choices.
-
Where I am they basically have Shoprite, Waldbaums, Keyfood and Pathmark.
-
I get out the sale ads and make my list and check out what coupons I have. I always go to coupons.com to see it there are any coupons I can print out.
I go to Walmart first because sometimes they have a better price than the sale at the other stores.
After that I go to the Giant and Shop Rite for the rest of the sale items I need.
