What is the deal with the warning that FC gives you before posting that someone else is posting something at the same time? :confused1:
Can anyone explain to me why I should care? Just wondering. ???
-
I think of that message from Fusion Cash as a notice rather than as a WARNING....it just lets me know that someone else posted something........perhaps my reply/post might change a bit after the latest post that was made while I typing my post.

For these forums, it isn't really important since most of the answers are just people's opinions. However on other forums where people are asking specific questions (eg some Support forum for a piece of software), this feature is more helpful... Perhaps someone else has answered the question, the OP added another post with more information, or someone else's response wasn't correct or very clear. Here, I usually use it just to see what the latest posts were, but hardly ever change what I typed based on those new posts.

I actually find that very annoying. I've already planned what I'm going to say, and anything that anyone else says isn't going to make me change my mind.
-
that way u can see what others have posted while you wright your post
-
The first few times I got that notice I would see what someone else had posted before I would post my comments. Since then though I just ignore it and post my own remarks.
-
Just to let you know your post did not post and you need to hit Post in order to get credit for it.

I don't think I've ever seen that warning. I have occasionally posted only to see another post snuck in while I was writing mine, but it never interfered with my post. :dontknow:

I concur....

i think they just want you to know you may have missed someones post while you are posting incase you might care what they have to say about the post
-
that way u can see what others have posted while you write your post it doesn't bother be because it has only happened 1 time to me
-
It has happen to me many time, too, I just resend it and see what other are posting

It's a useful tool on message boards. It cuts down on redundant posts when you can see that someone has already given the exact same answer. Don't think people care about that as much on here though.
-
Sometimes I like to read what has just been posted.
-
It can get a tad irritating some times. But ultimately I think it's nice to have. You may want to change your response after reading what someone else had to say or you might even want to quote it in addition to your own response.
-
I wait for a second and then put my post in and leave it at that.
-
I've never seen that.

Yeah....that seems to make sense...

Because what someone else posted could change what you want to say. Just ignore it and go on.
-
I just took it as someone else just posted while I was reading other posts
-
Maybe if you want to respond to that or that it's already addressing what you are saying??
-
I had this a couple of times. I ignore it. I don't think it's a big deal.
-
I haven't notice but I think it really isn't a problem overall since there is so many people on here at the same time
-
I don't think it's a warning as much as a heads-up. It's just letting you know that there is another reply.
-
This has happened a couple of times. I just use it as a heads up or I ignore it and submit my post.

I have never seen such warning or message
