Title: do you have a lawn fairy?
Post by: tantricia44 on August 31, 2015, 10:26:47 am: I think I do. Once every other month, I hear someone ringing & banging on my door in which I ignore. I ignore all door rings& banging unless I'm expecting someone. Anyway when I go out later at night the front of my lawn has been mowed.This started happening after my husband died 6yrs ago.I think one of my neighbors took pity on me but I still don't know which neighbor it is.Any way, I thank my mystery fairy neighbor for helping me even in secret. So, I wonder does anyone here have a lawn fairy?

Are you sure your husband didn't hire someone to come by now and then to trim the lawn? Maybe whoever it is is banging on the door because he's looking to get paid (although I do find it rather strange that whoever it may be might still be coming by 6 years later).

Yesterday I was thinking I had gremlins though.... I am missing the ads from the Tuesday mail, some plastic was removed off my lawn chairs, and I'm missing a box of coffee from Amazon - over a week overdue.... gremlins

How is it you don't hear the mower? Six years and you haven't heard the mower or looked out to see who's there? I couldn't do that, I'd have to know.

You could always leave a thank you note on your front door addressed, on the outside, "to my lawn fairy".
