Today is the 14th anniversary of the most horrific terrorist action to hit American soil. It's hard to believe it has been 14 years since that tragic day in American history...

Never forget . I was in 11th grade chemistry class when I found out .
-
I remember exactly where I was when the news came; I was driving to work and recall the exact block I was on when they broke in on the radio. Of course this was the first tower strike, when everyone was still wondering if it was just a terrible accident. I got to work and we had a TV set in a room upstairs above our office. It was not a very productive day at work that day, but I suspect that was likely true across the nation.
God Bless all who lost loved ones that day. We were ALL personally affected and we must not forget.

never forget that day remember it like it was yesterday

In Memory and In Honor of 9/11. God Bless America.
I hope that our leaders will remember who did what to us on 9/11 as they welcome refugees and immigrants, both legal and not legal, from all over the world. Those who hijacked the planes were in our country legally. We helped them and were good to them and this is how they repaid us.

Very important not to forget.
-
my granddaughter was 7 days old when this happened...watched it on tv all day..very sad
-
A day like this should never be forgotten. Even today, it is still sad.
-
May God rest the souls that died that day and bring peace to all of the family and friends who, to this day, suffer from their losses. NEVER FORGET the people who did this. Apparently our government HAS forgotten because they're SO ready to give the WORST terrorists in the world a nuclear deal. These politicians have lost their minds and should be held accountable for the idiocy that is happening in Washington as we speak.
-
I know what you are saying we should never for get that.If we do then the leaders like Obama will let it happen agent. By hie friend in the Muslim brotherhood.I would not be surprised If he is not one of them.the way he gave in onIran nuclear deal!!!!!

I was having a cup of coffee before going to work when the first plane hit and watched it all. This is something that we should never forget happened and I am afraid something like this is going to happen again. I pray not but with the way our country is going who knows.

How can we forget the history, it is scary and sad. I can't image people want to hurt others people like that. Time pass fast, it been 14 years.
-
I can't believe it has been that long~I like to watch old movies that have those towers in them....they were magnificent!

I was working at Hill Air Force Base in Utah when I found out. The security level went through the roof. I had to show my Government ID to people who knew me whenever I left and returned to the building.
I wish it didn't happen at all and I also wish it hadn't happened on 9/11 because 9/11 is my youngest son's birthday.

always remember those who died and those who tried to rescue ones in the towers.

God Bless all that perished that horrific day and those who survived with the embedded memory of knowing they were a part of a terrorist attack and psychologically hurt them for years to come. I lost a number of heroic friends that day. Port Authority Police Officers that perished and those who survived. It was such a horrible day not knowing if my dad who worked at the Grand Central Station was going to come home or not because they shut down all bridges and tunnels going to and from NY/NJ. No cell phone service back then and my dad did not even own a cell phone back then. It was horrible, but he did make it home the next morning, we were all relieved! Others were not as lucky! God bless our country and the men and women that perished that day and also the 1st responders.

My son, who was not born when 9/11 occurred, watches all the remberence shows with me. We can't let the tragedy ever be forgotten.
-
I was in 4th grade when it happened. Teachers wouldn't tell us what happened , instead insisted on waiting until we got home for our parents to tell us which I guess was the best idea.
-
Prayers are everyday not just on 9/11.
-
I can't believe it's been 14 years, wow. What a horrific day. God Bless America and God Bless my city, New York!
