Title: Not enough sleep

Last night I started off sleeping good, but the second half of night was awful.

Did you get enough sleep last night?

Last night my neighbors' car alarm kept going off every x number of minutes, then would go off after about a minute.   Someone called the police, and they stood in front of my house carrying on a conversation at 2am, while the police investigated the car and around the house, I guess he was doing a wellness check on the people to make sure they were okay, then the cop drove off while the car alarm was going off again, did he even bother to knock on the door to tell them...  grrrrrr

Then the car suddenly turned on every light,  headlights, backlights, inside lights...   I think it was having electrical issues,  a brand new cadillac... this morning the trunk was popped open.  Computer short?  IDK    The neighbors are very cool, so hopefully just a one time glitch

Now I have a sleep deprivation headache.   Hopefully tonight will be better.

I rarely sleep well. I take cat naps. The most sleep I get is 3 hours from 8-11 p.m. After that I'm awake until 7 a.m., then sleep for another hour.

That is, unless I have chocolate ice cream. Sounds crazy but if I eat a bowl of chocolate ice cream around midnight, I can fall asleep 15 minutes later and sleep until 6 a.m. Then I'm awake for the rest of the day except for a 10-15 minute nap after lunch.

As you can imagine, I hate to run out of ice cream. ;)

Yesterday I did a lot of yard work so I slept good last night.

I always have trouble sleeping. They keep trying different things on me. They have to make sure that it doesn't interfere with my other meds.

No, i did not get enough sleep. I tend not to, but last night was fairly awful. I was hot and then cold and my hips hurt so I kept tossing and turning and waking up. Ugh.... Hard to get through today for sure.

The only problem sleeping, for me, is there never seems to be enough time. I usually work from four thirty in the morning till eleven or eleven thirty at night which leave me five to five and a half hours of sleep. I fall asleep as soon as I hit the pillow and am able to snap to attention as soon as my alarm goes off.  If I don't I regret it for the next eighteen hours as I play catch up or miss out on things that I had planned. I have a little more wiggle room on the weekends and give myself the luxury of seven, maybe even eight hours of sleep which kind of helps me catch up on what I missed the previous week. I am locked out of my night time project so I might hit bed a little earlier today but I need to be up at five to see if my access codes have been reset.

i haven't had a full night of sleep for months lol.  usually i'm happy if i can get four hours at a time lol

No...I slept around 10:30p last night but i had to get up 5:30a this morning. I had back to back meetings at work too. So I'm tired. but can't go sleep until I get home tonight (prob around 10p).

Yes I got plenty of sleep.  Drink chamomile tea before bed that will help you get a good nights sleep.

I try to get to sleep by 1:30am. When I have a tight schedule, I feel beat regardless of the time of day or night!

I know what you mean, I went to sleep at 2 and woke up at 6:30 for work. I was tired all day.

I never get enough sleep and I can't ever fall asleep either.

Most of the time sleep is good for me, other times something stressful happens and that is when I can't go to sleep until it's almost time to get out of bed.  Thank God it doesn't happen that often.
