Title: Amazon
Post by: Gerianne on September 15, 2015, 08:30:30 am
cut me off with one of my orders. I have shopped with them for a few years and  this is disappointing.
a big change is needed sometimes in life. I have left other merchants for their poor business operations.

I don't shop much if any online but back when I did Amazon was always good to me.

What reason(s) did they give, if any?  I've been using Amazon for years and have never had any issues or problems with them.  I regularly order from them these days because I redeem Amazon gift codes regularly from some of my other online earning sources that don't offer PayPal or check redemption.

I love Amazon, sometimes they are more expensive than other places, but I have always had a positive experience.

What reason did they give you for cutting you off?  I didn't even know they would do that, why would they give people quotas... weird.   I know on Ebay they will kick you off from buying if you have too many issues with sellers, too many refunds, leave bad feedback, etc...

Wow that's too bad cause I too have shopped many times with Amazon and never had any problem whatsoever.  Maybe it was just a fluke and if you contact them they can correct any error.

I just started a few mouths ago using Amazon bought only a couple of things like an mp3 player,  or  a game nothing really pricey. But ordering something from a different country could take a long time receiving your order depends on what country you bought it from.So I can't really say if I  had any major problems with them
that wasn't unexpected.

What does "they cut me off" mean, exactly?  I've used Amazon for a long while now.  Never had any bad experiences with them, and their customer service is Johnny-On-The-Spot.

That's too bad.  I have not had problems with Amazon, but any large corporation is likely to  have slip ups.

Contact them and ask why. It is probably an error. I haven't had any problems with them

I have only hopped a few times with Amazon, but had good luck with them. In fact I am going to have to place another order here soon with them.  Sometimes it is the only place I can get some of my craft items at good prices.

Hey, Gerianne. Lots of people have asked what you mean by "cut you off" and you haven't answered. I'm wondering that too. Amazon is absolutely my go-to place to shop. They have everything and I've used them for years with no problems at all.

I hope you asked them about the problem (and not stopped until you got an answer you understand) since you're disparaging them here on our forum.  :o

I love Amazon. I would call customer service and tell them. I just wish prime wasn't so expensive or I would have prime.

I use Amazon all the time.  There are some products that Amazon has a limit on the quantity that a buyer can purchase.  The limit is usually for only 7 days; then the same buyer can purchase that item up to the maximum limit again.

What do you mean by "cut you off"?  I have always had good service from them.  For example, I recently received an item that was damaged that I was to give as a birthday present. I chatted with someone online and was sent a new item overnight, and did not have to even bother returning the original item - which by the way, was usable, but slightly dented. So you should contact them!

I've never had problems with Amazon.  I know they expect us to follow the terms of their agreements.  They have Prime; which means, free shipping on certain items.  I've seen some people take advantage of that feature and drop ship Amazon items to customers on eBay.  Amazon doesn't like that and they will shut someone down if they are suspected of abusing Prime.

Don't know what the specific reason was for Amazon refusing to cooperate.  Ebay can be touchy too if we neglect to read and follow the terms of agreement.

What do you mean "they cut you off with one of your orders"?  I love Amazon.  I have had 2 issues over the years with them and they resolved both immediately.

Never had a problem with the customer service at Amazon. Even when my orders get damaged, misordered, delayed, and cancelled they always try to help out. They either provided my a full refund, $5 - $10 amazon giftcards, replacement with one-day shipping, or at one time I get to keep a duplicate order for free. They accidentally doubled one of my orders (k-cup), and I contacted them that they had a duplicated my order. They told me to keep the order because in their policy they can't return food/beverage items or something

You should contact Amazon and see if they can give you same/one day shipping. Might as well give it a try

I have never had a problem with Amazon. My son had a problem once when someone he bought from took over $1000 from his bank account. His bank caught it and reimbursed him but that was pretty frustrating for him and his wife. They didn't even miss it at the time because it was being withdrawn directly from savings, if the bank hadn't caught it when they did it is hard telling how much they would have taken.

That's surprising; they're one of the few retailers I completely trust.
