Do you ever just warm up store bought jar sauce and add to boiled noodles (no meat)?
-
sometimes it taste good to me
-
Yes I have done that many times :)
-
i always use jarred sauce what i grew up on Ragu is just fine. Can get on sale for 1.50 usually then buy 2 jars.To much trouble to make fresh .
-
NO! That is not good, at least add some meats.
-
Occasionally when I have time and feel energetic I make my own spaghetti sauce with meat but most of the time I use Prego Italian Sauce Flavored With Meat.
-
all the time
-
No, I prefer homemade. I know what's in it, it's fresh and custom made with nothing artificial.
-
Yes, I do that all the time.
-
no
-
No I would have to have some kind of meat. Maybe just some veggies would be nice to add to some sauce also.
-
I have fixed it that way but prefer to add some hamburger to it.
-
I use it but I add other thing to it .
-
no I have to have meat in my sauce, once in awhile I will make meatballs, but mostly just hamburger mashed up, l always add more spices
-
No, when I make spaghetti I make meat sauce and add hamburger, sweet Italian sausage, onions, celery, garlic green peppers. Love homemade spaghetti with meat sauce. :)
-
yes, I sometime make my own meatball. It is much cheaper to make your own than buying from a restaurant
-
When I'm in a rush I do.
-
Yea add some meat
-
Yes I have done that many times :)
My husband won't eat it because there is no meat, but it is quick, cheap, and easy to prepare...
-
I only like spaghetti with meatballs.
-
that is the only way I make spaghetti
-
Yes, but that is rare....
-
Sometimes when it's getting late and I don't know what to have for dinner, I use jarred sauce and make spaghetti. My husband will like that any time! I try to buy sauce without added sugar, though, and use whole wheat spaghetti, or one made with vegetables. You don't need meat for every dinner - better to cut back anyway. I also serve cut up fruit and a nice salad before having the spaghetti. And if I have some leftover Italian bread in the freezer, I will make garlic bread.
-
yuk, no jarred stuff for me please - love to make my own sauce and large meatballs and best when italian sausage is also on the side - then it's complete for me!
-
We always make our sauce with meat.
Never tried it without meat.
-
Always add meat, ground and I also make meatballs. I add garlic, green peppers, onion, and mushrooms.
-
No, never. I need my meat
-
I need a little meat with my spaghetti.
-
My Spaghetti is so better with hunt's traditional sauce... it is really amazing. :silly: ;D
-
Yes, I have done it a lot and it taste great.
-
I think it sound yummy. I would also do that from time to time, but mostly I've added some ground beef in it.
-
Yes I have, I also use the store bought sauce for a base to add beef or turkey, other vegetables.
-
No. I have to have meat in my spaghetti sauce. To me it is not good without the meat. I can eat baked zita with just plain spaghetti sauce and cheese.
-
I used to but I am trying to eat healthier so I make my own. It's not hard. I make it in a slow cooker and serve it with whole wheat spaghetti and turkey sausage. Freeze left overs for a quick meal. :D
-
i have just added sauce with no meat but I perfer meat ....
-
this is the only way to make spaghetti for me
-
No I have never done it
-

No my Mom's sauce is the best  She is Italian AND Mom's cooking is always the best

If I'm in a hurry or lazy then I do. When I have the time and produce on hand I make my own sauce.
-
In my days of bachelorhood, I spent many dinner nights with pasta and Ragu. EASY to make and clean up, and I could just let the pasta boil in the stove unattended while I watched SportsCenter or PTI on TV! Then I met and married an Italian girl who has the family's secret recipe. The sauce takes an entire day to make and I've never tasted anything better -- even in the authentic Italian restaurants! Her sauce calls for both beef and pork and would be missing some major flavor components without the meat!
I think I've only had Ragu sauce 2 or 3 times over the past decade. (Our 10th Anniversary is this coming Thursday!)
-
i normally ad stuff to it at least then warm it up lol plain would be to bland and dull
-
I normally don't use meat in my spaghetti. We use it as a meatless day.
-
My kids love it that way.
-
its rare but sometimes i really crave the tangy tomato taste in those cases then i will eat it sans hamburger.
-
Yes, I actually prefer spaghetti without meat.
-
I always warm my spaghetti sauce with hamburger meat.
-
I tried it once but didnt like it. I always have to put meat with chopped onions and green peppers
-
Do you ever just warm up store bought jar sauce and add to boiled noodles (no meat)?
Absolutely! I'm not a big meat eater so sauce & cheese is great. I do like it with a little chicken sometimes :)
-
No, I have never done that. I prefer meat in my Spaghetti sauce. Usually, I will use Prego Italian sauce and add in ground beef.
-
I love it many different ways. I've been using zucchini noodles lately and lots of veggies for a healthier take.
-
Sure, some of the store bought sauce is pretty good. I only have time to make my own on rare occasions so store bought is a regular around here. I do make meatballs and freeze them so I can add them to a quick spaghetti dinner.
-
Only when I'm feeling lazy and don't want spaghetti really and have something a lil lighter
-
Sometimes I do that when in a hurry. It is good, if the sauce is of good quality.
-
I do that all time when having pasta for lunch or dinner. It taste good plus I add other spices to give me the taste I want.
-
It would be an extremely rare occasion for that to happen.
