Hello. Has anyone ever received an email offer from Ipsos for participation in a research activity? I just wonder if it is legit!

Hello. Has anyone ever received an email offer from Ipsos for participation in a research activity? I just wonder if it is legit!
"Ipsos" is a legit company. As far as your "email" is concerned, I can't tell you whether THAT is legit or not. I belong to the Ipsos community, so I get emails from them for surveys.

Thanks! I am a member of Ipsos but I have never received an email like this. It is an offer to download Passive Online Metering App then go shopping online. Once you complete a survey and keep the program for a week you will get $25.00. I guess it is worth a shot. I know the company is legit.

Did you look to see if it was from a legitimate email address? I've done things like that in the past but I would make sure it's from an email actually belonging to the company before I download anything
-
It is something to look into.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like it is from a legit email. I guess I have to figure out if it is worth $25 to try it. I am just always nervous to download things.

There are a lot of promotions out there for people with I phones to download apps and go shopping and they are paying. Its like working on the road. You have to leave home. I don't have that kind of phone but I know someone who does who is earning money from having the phone.
-
Yes, I have seen those. This is for my computer though...not mobile phone
-
Yes, the company is legit. So you should receive an email confirmation after you signup.

Sometime those meter type things slow your computer down.

I have received emails from Ipsos before, but I have never been invited to some kind of study.

A couple of years ago, I received a participation email for a $50 online/community live chat survey. I did participate. I logged onto a site and there was a mediator and several participants. We were asked questions about area hospitals and we answered/discussed them. It took 45 minutes and I got a check from them for $50. So, I think they are legit.

I work in market research and Ipsos is one of our clients. They are well respected in the market research industry.
However, what kind of email did you get from them? Are you certain that it is legit from Ipsos and not a spammer or scammer. While some emails look legit, they can be fakes from all the many crooks out there on the internet.
-
yes, they are legit! and a great site for earnings too!
-
I've heard good things about them and they are legit, just make sure that it's the correct url when you sign up :)
-
Not really. I dont have this e-mail in my list.
-
Well, the email looks legit. But, how do you know for sure.
-
I have downloaded the Ipsos app on my phone, but I have never received an email or completed a survey from them.
-
dont you have to leave that app on your computer or phone or you loose that credit?
???
