We use to have a land line phone at home, but we never used it. It was nice to have it just in case our mobile phones had issues, but we eventually got rid of the phone for now.
-
yes I do, I don't have a cell phone
-
I have a VOIP phone with Vonage, because the cell phones are not that reliable and need charging all the time.
-
It took awhile but we finally eliminated our land line. Our cell phones are reliable and it just seemed an unnecessary expense. We were looking to eliminate some expenses and that was the first one. Haven't had any issues not having a landline.
-
I do have a landline. living in the north east we loose power many times. I don't use it that often but like having in case of emergencies . but I sure I will get rid of it in the next year or so. :pumpkin: :pumpkin: :peace:

I have a landline and a cell phone.
-
We have both land line and cell.
-
We have both cell and landline. We really need the landline as our security system is hooked to the landline number.
-
I have to have a land line because my internet come through. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)
-
no but I wish I did sometimes.
-
We do using it in sending fax.
-
Sure do. When you've got a 93 year old Mother who has no knowledge of electronics, you need one.
-
Yes I still have a landline. My mother won't use a cell phone.
-
Yes I have a land line phone. If I work at home more I won't need a cell phone. The landline is cheaper than my cell.
-
We do not have a landline. too me it was just another bill. I like having the cell phone because it dose not mat matter where I am I will get my phone calls. My stepfather is not in the best of health and I like the idea of always being able to be in contact with him. He has finally learned how to use the simple cell phone that is when he remembers to charge it and carry it with him. He has very few phone numbers on it. Just my brother, sister, and a few close friends on it. But it has a red button he knows to push if he needs it.
-
I have a land line because, several times late at night when I come home the cell has no service where It always does and it last for about 20 minutes.
-
I do because my fax is tied into it. My part time job requires that I have a working fax. If it wasn't for that, I would have only a cell phone
-
We cut out our landline phone service... We don't use it since my family have cell phones.. So why bother paying for a service we are not using
-
I have a landline and cell phone and use both on a daily basis. :)
-
No we don't have a land line phone anymore. Got rid of it several years ago.
About the only people who called us on it were salespeople....do you need new windows? siding?
-
I do, but it's mainly only used for the computer, or when I forget to charge the cell.
-
yes! I have a land line telephone that is for long distance calls.
-
yes still have one at home
-
yes i still have my land line. Have had the same phone number for over 40 years :)
-
We didn't until about 4 months ago when our cable company offered a special to get cable TV, high speed internet and landline for less than what I was paying for cable TV and low-speed internet. We'll have it for at least a year until the special offer expires. Even though I have never given the phone number out, we do get calls on it occasionally. I don't answer it, though, because it has to be telemarketers. I have used it to find my "lost" cellphone at times!
-
Yes, I do. I like having a land line just in case. Cannot depend on cell phones these day in case of an outage.
-
Yes for our internet and in case schools need to call about our kids.
-
yes i did away with my cell phone
-
Yeppers, I still have a landline. It's a 3 package deal with Internet & Cable. If I get rid of it now the billing doesn't make sense to get rid of it. They get you somehow with extra money here and there. One day I would love to be rid of it but for now, that line is for all the junk callers and I screen my calls...lol
-
Yes, but I don't use it, it came with my Verizon Cable Package. I signed up with Verizon as my cable and internet provider after 90 days of paying the bill on time I received a $300 verizon card that I used for three months to pay the bill.
-
I still do as I don't have my cell phone with me at all times.
-
I have only had a cell phone for years. I was helping raise grandkids so I had cell ph calls from grown kids, young kids, and we all use speed dial.
So, we are totally mobile.
I am 72, and have a couple older neighbors that are so startled when my phone goes off in my pocket.
I would never want to go back to home phone. I can handle calls so easily in the garden, in the pkg lot, or chatting with startled older neighbors.
:rose:

i still have a land line home phone i don't trust battery's.

no land line...don't need any other expenses
-
Landlines are a thing of the past for personal use.
I still have a landline at my business.
-
Well right now, I'm living with my parents since my divorce, and yes, they do still have a landline phone. When I lived on my own, I had a landline but cut the service shortly before I moved out. I don't know, sometimes I get worried that if something happens to my cell, I'd like to be able to have the landline to fall back on.
-
We still do, we don't use it. But just a little leery totally trusting the cell service, especially since our carrier got bought out and we had to switch types of phones. We haven't really had it long enough that I would trust it to cut the landline.
-
I didn't have a landline when I lived nearer to the city. But where I am now cell coverage is spotty. So I have a home phone service that came with my internet and t.v. package.
-
yes, we do have a landline which comes in handy. this month i didn't have the money to keep the cell on,so i had it turned off for a month. landlines do come in handy.
-
Nope, just our cells.
-
I still have a landline phone. It's part of the bundle I have with my cable company.I use it more often than my cellphone, especially for incoming calls.
-
Yes we do. If we get rid of it my cable and internet goes up. We get a cheaper deal when we get the bundle all three home line, cable and internet.
-
We have both landline and cell phones. Most of our incoming calls still come through the landline and I think for safety and emergency purposes, it is a good idea to have BOTH available. I rarely ever dial out with the land line or make long distance calls with it, but still do on rare occasion.
-
We have a landline, because it came bundled with our Internet and tv. We never use it.
-
I do
But the phone line is through the cable company, I have the triple package: phone, internet, cable
When my deal is over, I think I am going to switch out the phone to a voip. I pay almost as much for the landline as for a cell phone. No one barely even uses the land line. Waste of money, really.
-
My parents are the only people I know that have one. I haven't had one in close to 15 years.
-
no we all have cells phones at my house no land line.
-
I just recently had my landline reconnected because my cell drops calls so often.
-
We run a business from our home so still have a land line. Otherwise, we would drop it.
-

Hello! :D  I no longer use a landline. Cell phone all the way! :angel11: If you need to reach me call my cellphone. I usually pick up If I don't leave me a message. I've been using my phone as my main phone for a while. It works for me! I think in the future we all will be using our cell phone and no landline. What do you think? ??? :dontknow:
-
I got rid of my landline back in 2005, I only used it for dial up internet (that I'm glad to say I no longer have) and faxing (which can just as easy be done with scanning and emailing most things now). I do miss being able to slam that phone down in someone's ear, but only when I'm mad at them lol I try not to get that mad at anyone though so I can keep living without the landline :-)
-
No, I just use my cell phone for everything
-
I still have a landline in my home. I just cant seem to let go! LOL I have had the same phone number for about 27 years!!! I guess its just like an old friend to me......
-
Yes, it's linked to our security system.
-
No, we lost it several years ago.
-
Nope I do not have one anymore had it turned off about 5 years ago.
-
I still have my home phone because my cell phone is my work phone.
-
No I haven't had a landline phone in years. I have been relying on my cell phone as my primary phone for as long as I can remember.
-
Ours is through our cable company. If we lose power we lose phone service. We both have cell phones and car chargers so we are set in case of an emergency.
-
we do not have a land line anymore just cell phones thru tracfone. we dont use our phones that much so their is no point in having an expensive fancy phone.
-
Oh god no got rid of those years ago. no need for landline phone when everyone in the house has cell phones
-
My parents have a landline telephone at there house, I use my cell phone in my apartment.
-
We have a landline. I swear we could go away with it though. Nobody uses it anymore
-
Yes we do!
-
Yes, we still use a landline and have no immediate plans to get rid of it. I still think it's best if there is an emergency, if there is no power cannot charge cell phone, so I unplug the wireless from the jack and bring out the old cordless which we keep in the closet in case of emergencies and no power.
-
I still have a landline phone - just in case my mobile doesn't work!!!
-
I might get a landline phone for my apartment in the future when my finances improve. :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey:
-
Yes I have two actually from different providers.
-
I have landline and would never get rid of it. Cell phones are only about 50% reliable, where as landlines are 100% reliable.
-
have had a land line in my home for about 40 years and would never get rid of it. i only use my cell if i'm out someplace. would rather talk on my landline then a cell anyway.
-
I still have a landline phone. I cannot trust my cellular phone all of the time...and with the skyrocketing cell phone bill (thank you SO much Verizon Wireless...NOT), I am glad that I have my landline.
-
Of course we do.It comes with the package provided by Optimum....TV,Phone and internet.
-
yep i sure do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     ;D
-
I gave up my home line about 4 years ago. I didn't believe in having a home phone if the cell phone did the job and more.
-
yes i do hav a land line phone at home.
