Wow, people will buy anything! I can't believe they actually get buyers for something that everyone has in their home for free.
-
I am going to start selling mine and the paper towel rolls too. WOW!
-
lol, I need to start selling mine then why not!
-
I will start collecting it and sell eventually.

I couldn't believe anyone would think of selling them. Oh, when I think of all the money I've tossed in the compost pile! :D
-
Holy cow! When I saw the link, I was thinking that it was just one person doing this sale... But close to 200 auctions for them?! I may have to try that as well!

I wonder if they really do sell? I can't believe there would be that many people who would buy something like that.

That's why I saved the search. I'm gonna watch this and see what happens...
I'm still bumfuzzled lol

I believe that southernhorizons meant that the used rolls were free (after using up all of the TP on the roll). The auctions are for the cardboard inserts after all, not for an actual toilet paper roll with usable TP on it.
-
All I have to say is...why? lol
-
That's amazing. It absolutely never occurred to me that I could sell my empty toilet paper rolls. I go thru quite a few paper towel rolls so I guess I'll try to sell them but I wonder how a person packs them to ship. I guess in a box that they will fit in.
-
It's ads like thoughs that people don't read before buying things.
-
That is just too crazy!!
-
My son says people sell them for hobbies and crafts - who knew? At the rate I use toilet paper I would have been rich by now lol.
-
what ever it is I want in on it I even throw in the paper towel rolls some times my TP has no roll in the middle depending on which brand I buy
-
im am not surprised people sell just about anything on ebay
-
Why would you sell this? so weird.
-

I have a friend who uses them for crafts, and I have used them to start seeds, but I have never heard of anyone having to buy them. Usually, we just save our own and put the word out to the neighbors, and have all we need.
-
Who cares, I put them in recycling. The price of aluminum has gone down so do you really think you would get more for used, dirty, unhygienic, toilet paper rolls? Wake up. 8)
-
That is weird, never knew you could sell toilet paper rolls online ???
-
a lot of people use them for arts and crafts so really i dont see it as weird i mean come on someone actually bought a grilled cheese sandwich that supposedly had the face of Jesus on it.
-
I remember reading about I guy in the Northeast when they had a severe winter setting up a website to sell SNOW and made a small fortune.
-
For quite a while our house hold was saving tp and pt rolls for a local animal shelter called "Back to the Wild". They help to nurse sick and injured wild animals back to health for re-release back into their wild habitat. Some of the animals used this thinner type of cardboard to shred up for bedding.
I don't think they are collecting these any longer -- not sure if they got too many, or if they were getting other cardboard items that they couldn't use, or what. But I think it was for a good cause.
In past years, we've had to send in empty rolls with our daughter to school for use in art projects. Now they just go back into our recycle bins.
-
I think people use them for crafting. I quess if there is a market.
There is plenty of good and decent stuff on ebay but there is also some disgusting stuff.
-
I wouldn't buy somebody else's empty toilet paper rolls. No way.
-
I had never thought of it, but I don't find it weird at all. They are advertised as being for school craft projects. I could see where some might find it easier just to buy them and save the time of collecting them.
-
I believe it! They can be used in arts and crafts. Any other uses?
-
There not really free unless you make it that way because you do put out money to buy them. But some people will buy toilet paper rolls to make a lot of things. The possiblys are endless
-
YOu can make small photo albums out of them. I need to watch this and see were its goes.

I've used them (my own! :D ) to start seeds in.
-
LOL this made my night. WOW
-
That makes me laugh so hard. Thank you for the laugh.

There loads of things you can do with these. I like to use some as lil planters to star off a plant so i can keep it away from the others just enough where i can transplant them later without the roots tangling up with each other
