I don't have a lot to shop with this year either. You can always start shopping now and buy small. You could also shop on Cyber Monday or Black Friday.

it is still early to be shopping for Christmas maybe you can do something that doesn't cost as much like homemade gifts or food gifts like cookies fudge etc. As a single guy I like getting these kinds of gifts around the holidays

I shop online also because I can't walk very long in a store. And really don't have anyone to help me.

I'm broke too, but I shopped the manager's special section of my neighborhood Kroger and snagged my mom a bath set for really cheap. Shower gel, bubble bath, bath salt, and lotion all in a pretty red cosmetic bag just for a few dollars.  8) I know it may sound too tacky for some people, but Dollar Tree does actually have some nice gifts. I got a 2016 planner and fun pen there for my sister. Michael's has some cheap monogrammed goodies, like thermoses and notepads, that I'm going to get tomorrow. Nothing has to be expensive, and it's so good to get it all out of the way sooner than later! :)  :snowman:

There is still plenty of time to get your Christmas shopping done before the holiday, almost two months yet!

They say the holidays have the highest suicide rate of any other time of year.  A lot of people are really having a hard time right now.  Just keeping a roof over their head and food in the fridge is a struggle.  Then advertisers telling you that you have to buy this and this.  And greedy people with huge long lists of what they want.  I can see why people get depressed this time of year.

I always wonder when I see statements like this.  I work really really hard and don't make any where close to $400 a month.  That is about $5,000 a year.  Just curious how anybody could make that kind of money on sites like this one.  Unless they have a ton of referrals.  And that is a whole different ball game.

As always, I am looking forward to Christmas. I generally visit friends and family in Canada during this time of year (which consequently causes me to be absent from FusionCash :-( ) I need to begin searching for some seasonal work as well. I desperately need to supplement the income that I generate from my full-time occupation and the earnings that I generate from FusionCash.

I don't even begin to think about Christmas shopping until after Thanksgiving. You have time to try to earn some cash for shopping or even to make your gifts. Do you have any kind of craft hobby like knitting, quilting, crocheting or sewing that you could do?

I dislike even thinking about it.  Now that my children are grown and I don't have my regular income, it is not what it used to be.  Another thing...I HATE winter.  I have to focus on the meaning of the holiday and stick to a budget, in spite of what people might want or I might desire to give them.  Luckily, I have a small family.  If I didn't, we'd either narrow it down, draw names, or set a small monetary limit, and that would have to do it...or else!

I just stared shopping for xmas too. You still have time you can do. Maybe it will not be as good as last years, but I know you can make it work. Some years are better than others. I know it happens to me too.
