Title: Trick or Treat 2015

Trick or Treat in Baton Rouge was Friday night because rain was predicted in the forecast. :pumpkin: :pumpkin:

Here in Metairie too was tonight.  We did not have not one child show up .  I guess everyone planned parties

Rain  doesn't  stop  kids  in  Fresno.  Probably  because  we  never  get  any.

That just seems odd.  I don't celebrate Halloween.  Never have.  But it seems crazy to change the date of begging strangers for candy because it is suppose to rain on the actual holiday.  I have seen that several times in the past few years.  When I was a kid if you trick or treat and it rains that night you either get wet or you stayed home.

The government and schools stepped in and said you can no longer spank your kids or basically make them mind.  And no, reasoning with a kid does not work.  I unfortunately work with the public and have seen spoiled heathens throw themselves on the floor and scream *bleep* murder because they were told they could not have a candy bar or a 20 oz coke.  And more times than not the parent will apologize to the brat and give them what they want.   This teaches them "this is how I get my way".  When a kid is never told no, never held responsible for their actions, never has to work for what hey get, given everything they want, and raised to believe the world owes them something and total revolves around them .... the world as we know it today ... this is the result.

i never get trick or treaters where i live ................. :(
