Title: Have you ever built a gingerbread house?

the young kids, as well as the adults, enjoyed the team project.

They look like a lot of fun, but frustrating to build at the same time...I'll probably end up eating the cookies and candy without completing the house. I can just picture myself getting mad and inevitably scrapping the entire project all because a cookie cracked. LOL...

Post by: squirrelgirl44 on December 02, 2015, 02:07:50 pm: This couldn't have been timed better. My daughter and I just went to a gingerbread house party last week. I had never made one before. It was very challenging and ours kept falling apart. Apparently, the key is to use a TON of frosting.

My friend has had some success with a gingerbeard kit.
I haven't tried them tough
when I was little my auant always sent us a gingerbeard house for Christmas. it was always fun to eat it. :santa: :wave:

It turned out ok.....not perfect and picture worthy of a magazine, but it was fun!

Buy the kit. :) They make easy gingerbread house kits now which are pretty simple to put together.
