I love Silent Night. I would say that's my favorite.

I don't really have a favorite Christmas carol.
-
it will have to be jingle bells

I am a little twisted in my choices. It isn't really, truly Christmas until I hear Bruce Springstein singing "Santa Claus is coming to town". I absolutely love the Grinch song. I really enjoy the Tran Siberian orchestra. If we are settling down on Christmas Eve I enjoy any Christmas song being played, as long as my family is near. It will be even more special because I will be sharing this years Christmas with my parents and I do not think I will be afforded that luxury for too many more years. My daughter will be home from college. Even though we talk every few days it isn't the same thing as having her in her bedroom under one roof. Guess I am kind of sentimental that way. I actually have a few days off for Christmas from my Day time job and have minimized my hours with my project work so that I can enjoy my family more.

hark the herald angels sing

That would be The Twelve Days of Christmas. Once I get that song in my head during the holidays, there it stays for weeks and weeks. I don't mind because I really love that song.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas.
Silver Bells.
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause.
3 of my favs.

O Holy Night is my favorite.

The Christmas Song sung by Nat King Cole or Johnny Mathis. I remember putting up the tree as a child and mom playing a record of assorted christmas carols, so for me to hear the old versions is classic.

Favorite is probably Nat King Cole "The Christmas Song"; but close runners up are Bing Crosby "White Christmas" and Andy Williams "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year".
A local radio station in Cleveland (WTAM) is hosting an all time favorite Christmas song bracket on their website. They started with 32 songs and they are competing in a bracket format like the NCAA Basketball tournament. People submit votes in head to head matchups to advance songs to the next round. Right now, 16 songs are competing in Round Two and the above three I named are all still in the mix.

I have so many, I love Silent night, Oh holy Night, Jingle Bells, Go tell it on the Mountain etc...
-
None. I don't like any of them. I find the whole holiday season pretty annoying.
-
I agree with nannycoe1. I love Oh Holy Night.....after all, that is what it is supposedly all about, right?

my favorite carol is silent night.
when I was growing up that was the last song that was sung at church at midnight mass. The lights in the church were turned out and we light candles and sang that song. :peace:  :santa:
