Do you miss using pay phones, it cost us less than a cell phone, but they were inconvenient. We had to get out of the car and find a location that had a pay phone. lol

That is so funny because my daughter was in Europe last week and in London she posted a picture on facebook of a phone booth. All I could think about Superman, and he has no place to get his cape on.

I think cell phones are mobile phone booths

I still see payphones now and there, but not a lot as before... In the Penn Station where I use to commute to college they set up a commuter charging booth. It has a lot of different types of micro usb that can be plugged into a smartphone

I don't miss them to be honest but sometimes I wish there was one because cell phones sometimes do fail and if you can't get that important call out when you need to then your out of luck.

I agree with this post. What will we all do without our pay phones and our landlines if the cell towers are damaged or destroyed or vandalized.
Anything could happen. It's nice to have a backup for emergencies.

everytime I see a phonebooth where it used to be, all is there is the frame. no phone or nothing. I used to use a payphone for my own personal phone. as a landline, I think I have one but I dont use it. it was part of the internet package.

I don't miss payphones. I never used them because you never knew who has come before you to use to use them. Just think about the germs etc....

I don't know where any pay phones are any more. They all seem to have been removed.
