Title: Why Is My Name A Different Color?

I was reading through forum posts today, and I noticed that my name above my picture was a different color from the rest of the names on the page.  It was a tan color and all the rest were green.  I started searching the forum to get a clue as to why this had happened.  Did I unknowingly choose to make my name a different color?  I remember choosing a color for my banner, and wondered if that was the reason my name was different, but other people with the same color banner as I have, did not have a different colored name.  I went on a hunt to see if I could find another tan name in the forum, and I found one, my friend, oldbuddy.  He has a tan name too.  Can anyone unlock this mystery for me?

I've asked this same question a few months back. When you click on a members name to read their profile, the name turns tan (for a while at least). You must've clicked on your own name and Oldbuddy's at one point in the past. As a test, you can click my name and it will become tan as well! Hope that answers your question.

Wow!  Isn't that interesting!  Thank you for giving an explanation.  I was stumped.  You are now tan with me!

I never noticed the color change when I've clicked on someone's name before. I've been on FC for several years, and still don't know everything there is to know about the site! That keeps things interesting. :)

When I click on a name to read the profile the color does change. Then it stays that color. I guess to let me know I have already read that one.

Awesome! Now I know how to get a tan in the Forum. My wife thinks I look better with a tan hopefully this tan will work.

How interesting! I was wondering why my name was tan also, that explains it. I had to test it though of course. So now everyone has changed from green to tan! LOL

When I see mine, it is gold color. I wonder if it is like that because my forum status is gold :)
