Title: Malware in Videos
Post by: minmax1017 on April 03, 2016, 08:05:49 am
For the past two days I've been doing the Content Carousel for .02. It completes the video process but after instead of going to the capcha it goes to a screen that says thepointzone.com page isn't working, then a malware virus is detected from my antivirus. I took a snapshot of this. Anyone else encountering this?

Yup indeed, my antivirus popped up warnings several times on the videos.

No, I am not experiencing this but I have experienced something similar in the past. I suggest that you open a  support ticket and let Fusion Cash know.  Attach your screenshot.

Welcome to Fusion Cash. It is a great site.

FF blocked the redirection before it even got as far as my anti-virus.  I have read that some people turn off their anti-virus to do videos, I cannot imagine doing that. Just not worth all the potential damage to computer for a few pennies.  I haven't had any luck with these, I keep trying because I have nothing on my page anymore.

I do mine from a computer running Linux, so I don't worry about virus or malware.

It explains why I haven't been able to do videos the past three days. My anti-virus doesn't come up but it's obvious the page is being blocked.

I've wasted time these past three days trying to do videos and NONE of them are working. Burt Bees, video carousels.

I agree it's not worth the risk to turn off anti-virus just to view the videos and I would hope that FC would protect its members from this potentially harmful content.

It keeps redirecting me to this page asking me to update my Flash software. This is an old malware that I've seen before. Don't install!

I haven't gotten any warnings from my anti-virus, but I have not been able to get these videos to credit for days. I used to get credit for the first one I did each day anyway, but now, nothing. And I only get one HyperMX per day also.

Your message is why I suggested in the "off topic" forum to open a group on Facebook where we can all gather and meet to exchange ideas and such. I posted a very long message regarding the spyware over a month ago. I've been on computers since the inception of personal computers back in the 80s. I spent a long time investigating the source of the spyware and it's shady at best. Their popping up has NOTHING to do with FusionCash, and I'm guessing they aren't even aware of this problem, even though I did send a support ticket on the spyware, but that's an answer to your question. I was getting the spyware often, but I never see it any longer as I've learned to time clicking on the link to launch the carousel to get the "proper' link to come up.

Content Carousel did not work for me so I don't go there anymore.

This morning when I was watching videos I noticed a message stating that it was malware. I also had to update my computer so it could show the video as well.
