Hello
What things do you do to help reduce your Fibromyalgia pain? I am on medication, I keep my stress level down, do not lift heavy objects, do all of my house work at different time periods instead of all at once, and rest between projects I work on.
Some days, although I do all of that, I will have pain during times when the weather is bad(rain o cold) or I am sick.

I have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia but definitely have some type of problem that causes me daily chronic pain. I do what you do because I can't stand for any length of time. I had scoliosis and several surgeries when I was young so I guess that is it. I hope you get better.

My GF who has fibromyalgia was just accepted into the Fibromyalgia Clinic at a local research hospital. Although it will be interesting to see what they have to say, I know she is already trying to alleviate her pain on her own. She too has noticed that the weather seems to worsen her pain some days. Hence she is often turning up the thermostat to over 70-degrees, sweating her kids out in the process. From what I gather (from the little she's mentioned about this clinic), they really try for a holistic approach, not only aiding in getting their patients the right meds, but also working on their sleep habits, nutrition, exercise, and other approaches to reduce the pain.
