I didn't know she was that old. I remember when she used to be on a TV show called "Angie" back in the early 80s, late 70s. That was one of my favorite shows as a kid and she was a great actress back then.

So sorry to hear that. I didn't know she was that old! I watch the reruns of Everybody Loves Raymond almost every night.

It sounds like Mrs. Roberts passed peacefully. She certainly had a glow about her. I hope I have that kind of energy when I'm even 1/2 her age. While on this earth she was an advocate for older actors/actresses and now that she's gone...whose going to keep the momentum going for the elderly in the spotlight?

sorry to hear of her passing.

Doris Roberts was such a wonderful actress, she was so funny on Everybody Loves Raymond. The nice messages from her family, friends, and colleagues just demonstrate what a kind person she was. Rest In Peace. :angel11:

I think I must have watched every single episode of Everybody Loves Raymond over the years. Her relationship with Frank was adorably funny. They had a love hate relationship which was hysterical. The funniest line I ever heard was when she made him a promise, which she found hard to keep, particularly bearing in mind she didn't think he would live so long. I think it had something to do with her giving away his old, torn and worn pants which she didn't feel were worthy of him wearing anymore. On the plus side, 90 years old! Way to go!
