Title: leftovers
Post by: Gerianne on May 02, 2016, 08:55:08 am
can be used for soup.
Sometimes, you might have the same thing twice in a week's time.
My mom used to tease us when we were growing up saying "what do you think this is, a restaurant?"
The bulk stores are becoming popular.
My grandma used to walk to the store to get her food. I don't imagine that she bought more than she could carry.
She did get exercise.
Nowadays, people do notice how many conveniences there are.
Children do not go out to play as much.

When we have enough leftovers for another meal, we have it again for dinner a couple days later.  If it's not enough for two, my husband usually has the leftovers for lunch in a day or two, which he enjoys.

Hello to everyone out there in Fusion Cash World:

My husband Mario enjoys cooking for the both of us and others, as well, in our household.

Not always, but sometimes.  That is he enjoys cooking for others.

Anyways, this morning and afternoon, I really enjoyed eating the "leftover fish"  "Samon" that he cooked for the both of u(which he also cooked for me) and, I ate my delicious Samon leftovers both for breakfast and for lunch.

And, boy was it delicious!

Breakfast anyone?

leftovers are great for another meal or lunch the next day. Sometimes if there is enough, we will freeze it for another meal.

I make leftovers so we can have quick meal days instead of eating out.  I made 3 meat loaves at one time, baked them and froze 2.  We had one of those for lunch today, with left over white beans from the freezer.
