Just read after 33 years, Ozzy and Sharon Osborn are divorcing.

They might reconcile if he gets sober, seems to be a pattern with them.

I am sorry to be cynical, but when I first read this my first thought was, is there a new show about to air from which they would benefit from having a larger audience and bigger publicity. It is not really for me to judge as it is none of my business but I always felt they had an odd marriage. I think Sharon is a wonderful person and considering the trials and tribulations she has experienced in life, at times I am surprised she is so normal. But I do question why she was even with Ozzy for so long when he seems to need more from the relationship than she does. In some ways, he appears an extra child for her to look after. But they have kids together, and I guess any split would need much consideration and thought.

So may people get divorces. The problem with divorces-the actors and actresses are marrying someone In the same business-big mistake. Time and communication seems to be the problem. But then this also happens with ordinary people.

I read that. I guess that Sharon is finally tired of the drugs. Some people won't ever change.

Actually, I'm quite surprised they're still together :o I thought she left him a long time ago.
He's a bit much to put up with for any length of time let alone 33 years! She's done her time, it's time probably a good time to move on.

I agree with a lot of people here that what is most surprising isn't the divorce but how long their marriage lasted. 33 years is pretty stellar for any marriage to last, let alone with the pressures of Hollywood, the music business, and Ozzy's bouts with substance abuse. I think they should be applauded for doing their best and knowing it's time to move on now.

I know they had filed before for divorce a few years back because of his drug problem, but once he cleaned up Sharon took him back. I wonder what he did this time for her to file for divorce again.

That is the life of the rich and famous for you..... I'm really surprised they made it that long! I thought Ozzie would have kicked the bucket from the drug abuse by now.

if it wasn't for sharon, ozzy would have quit music years ago. They will be back together soon. They deserve one another.

My step-father was a very successful marriage counselor/divorce attorney. He would first make the attempt to help couples reconcile their differences. If/when he found that the differences were irreconcilable he would help them accomplish their divorce. That being said, ninety five percent of all marriages that I was exposed to were dissolved. I have been married for twenty two years and foresee making it till death do us part. This marriage was a first for both of us. We have struggled through many of the main reasons people get divorced and survived. I didn't know that Sharon and Ozzie were in the same industry. I thought that he was in music and she was in acting.If they were it would make sense that they were dissolving their marriage as they no longer have that common thread..
