Do you ever feel like you want to retire? I want to mentally, but cannot afford it financially. It would be great to get out of the bed when I want to, go to sleep when I want to, and not leave the house unless I wanted to go somewhere.
-
it not as good as it sounds because after some time your income is less than your out go
-
Yes I want to retire but cannot afford to financially at this point. I would like to make it work with a part time job. Maybe some day.

I cannot retire now for financial reasons. So, to work ...I go for a paycheck!
-
I definitely wish that I can retire. But with mounting student loan debt, an automobile loan, and a credit card, I am afraid that I cannot do so from a financial perspective. :-(

My husband took an early retirement, so I did too. That was five years ago and the time has flown by. We have done a lot of traveling - to Europe and to visit my daughter and her family. Lots of fun!

Hell yes. I'm sick of working. I have a few decades to go before I can retire and get social security but I hope to escape the rat race well before that.
-
I don't know when I will retire at this time because of the economy and m age right now

I retired after 34 years with the same agency. Its funny how you think you're so free, but commitments, responsibilities, and obligations creep back into your life. But really, a life without commitments, in my mind, is a wasted life.

I'm 26 and I'd love to retire. And really when I say retire, I mean work comfortably without fear of financial downfall due to work obligations. I always told myself that if i won the loterry, the first thing i'd due is retire my parents. I'm first generation born here in the us and believe me when I say the things they had to do to get our family situated here were harsh and unpleasant to say the least. And 90% not legal or smart. lol.
To be where we are today is a blessing my siblings and I often take for granted, but as a millenial, i do think of retirement as "not having to run my company, but still receive benefits from it" LOL.
Here's hoping.

I don't really want to retire. When I get older I want to have a job for two or three days a week where I am helping out, but not very stressed like working at Publix. I would not mined cooking the samples. I think working helps to keep people alive and up to date with times.
-
My job is so easy I probably never will retire! As long as I am in good enough health.... I will still keep working along!
-
I would love to retire but don't see that in my future. I have a disabled husband whose medical needs consumes most of our income and it won't get any better....
-
I am retired. It is not as rosy at times. Yes ,you have more time but not as much money as when you were working.
My husband is still working. Retirement would be a big adjustment for him.
-
Yes, I would and I plan on retiring in two to three years. You just have to plan it and pay off your debts and just live .
-
Yes, and travel the world that we live in, but have to earn enough $$$$$$ first.
