Title: Do you have and wear Flip Flops?
Post by: snuggleycutejc on June 17, 2016, 08:54:42 am: I have a sparkle, purple, pink, green pairs. I have worn them with socks lol. I had a leather pair was so comfortable. I had a jelly pair, they were cool. I love my flip flops. Do you wear flip flops? Have a gr8 day :present:

Post by: vickysue on June 17, 2016, 03:38:02 pm: I only have one pair, and don't wear them much, only if i need to slip some on for a quick step out side. I go barefoot in the house al the time. In the winter i usually wear a pair of socks and sometimes a pair of slippers. I was raised going barefoot and still do. But not out side because the sidewalk is hot and or their are some goat heads or other stickers . They hurt. But just to run outside and change the water on my plants the flip flops are fine.

As a general rule we don't wear shoes in the house so during the spring/summer/fall it's great to have something easy to slip on by the door. And of course they get worn at the beach which I don't get to go to as often as I would like.

Post by: debidoo on June 19, 2016, 12:08:48 pm: Yes I only wear flip flops for two reasons - one I am a Florida girl and I have a problem with my fee swelling due to a medical issue and so wearing any kind of tennis shoe or regular shoe is impossible. The only other thing I wear is slippers around my house. Have you seen the door wreathes made from flip flops. Oh yea I LOVE flip flops.

Yes, they're cute, but I just can't justify wearing them for long periods of time. Sorry to be the only downer on this particular post. :-X

I hope I can find the same style this soon, since my current pair is wearing out. Last time I looked, the store had Nike, but not the style that I am looking for.

I don't wear them much, but occasionally my feet feel the need to breathe, so I'll wear them around the house. On the rare occasions that I go to the beach, I'll wear them there, too.

Post by: lmrbean on June 21, 2016, 05:32:55 am: I have a pair of crocs flip flops which are very comfortable. They also have arch support, which is good for my feet. After two foot surgeries I was told to not walk around my house barefoot or just in socks, that I needed to wear shores to support my feet, so these are great for that. In warmer weather they are practically the only shoes I wear.

And I start wearing them them in May till October outside LOL Personally I hate shoes so these make me feet feel lovely :)

I don't like ones with a thick sole, because they don't bend in the middle, and that pulls on the fabric between my toes! And it does need to be fabric between my toes, because plastic or rubber, gives me blisters. Also, I live in a desert state and if the sole is not thick enough, I pick up all kinds of thorns which I can feel. I like a wide sole because I have wide feet.

It is a inconvenient to go and find shoes to wear, just to take out the garbage or go check the mail. It is also summer, so I need flip flops to wear if I am going to the pool or beach.
