This offer really bugs me alot. FC has it in the "repeat daily" area and for whatever reason I log in and try to do Hipmunk for $0.35 a day and for the past 7 day's it has failed to credit me. I leave it on there site for 3-4 min just to make sure they capture my cookies or whatever data they need to report that I did the offer correct. I refresh my page and I still see no credit even in the my account section why?
If this is a third party offer and they dont know if you have visited and searched for a hotel in order to report it back to FC to credit us then why have it.
Let me know your thoughts

This offer is hit or miss for me. I too leave the page open for almost 10 minutes. Sometimes it credits and sometimes it doesn't.
-
I can't figure this one out either. Its on the Repeatable daily page and on the video page (for much less) - sometimes more than once. I only try the .35 one.... (why would you try .03 if there is a possibility of .35?)
Hit or miss, for sure.

It is possible to get it to credit daily, sometimes it does take 2 or 3 tries but it still takes me way less time than I would spend on 5 Hyprmx videos or that I spent on the quiz videos that never paid. Cleaning cookies/broswers before every attempt is critical. I had no luck with it in IE when I tried it, I use Firefox. I know on another thread that some who hadn't been able to get it in Chrome got it in FireFox. Keep playing with it, it really doesn't require much time on a daily basis.

I get it to credit daily in Chrome. HOWEVER, some days the Hipmunk search results page will load the results side-by-side instead of single file in a row and I can't get it to credit... so I come back much later in the day and it usually loads properly and I get my credit.
Funny how some of these are finicky! :D

Gotta clear the cookies first! After two days of not being paid, I got paid today. Yea! I will try multiple time like those who have suggested it here the next time I have problems. Thanks guys!
-
No idea why you are not getting credit. I have been doing this offer daily for over a month and I have received credit every time. I use either Chrome or Safari most of the time.
Like any other offer, clear out your cookies...
-
I used this offer daily for months and get credited 95% of the time. I use Firefox, don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Experienced an error message (404) or two while loading it the other day, but I waited it out. I selected city and dates, but it hung up after hitting 'search,' continually stuck in loading mode without ever landing on the search results. So, clearing cookies/cache again I retried. It gave me another error message (504) so I thought maybe it could be maintenance on the site on Hipmunk's part. I cleared cookies/cache again -- not going to give up -- I have gotten it every day since reading 'how to succeed' in this forum last May.
Finally it loaded and performed search just as it always had before, in which it credited reliably as spending at least 3 - 4 min. total on viewing properties, listed single-file to the left of the city map, followed by hitting either 'Reserve' or 'Book' after selecting one hotel, then keeping that page open 1 - 2 minutes (it quickly prepares the invoice for you to review; may include sign-up info, but you don't need to fill that in). Hmmm...getting that invoice probably completes the search for crediting purposes? Strangely, it still didn't credit, but I cleared cookies/cache once again and it did. Took 20 min. to credit, not too unusual, but normally it's been between 2 - 10 min.
That said, out-of-the-ordinary error messages interrupted it. Important note is to remember 'daily' is about 24 hrs. as it puts the date on the credit. Still using Chrome, but wouldn't think any other browser was better or worse for that matter. Hope this helps.

I usually can count on Hipmunk crediting, just not immediately. I will do it first and than go to the community to get my posts in or watch a few videos for extra credit. At that point it has credited.

I have been credited for Hipmunk more than one time but usually do not get credit. I do not know what the secret is to getting credit most of the time. I have used safari, chrome and firefox when attempting to get credit. I do not find one browser works better than any of the others.

Since I have not tried Hipmunk in several days, I may give it another go today.

I can get the daily .35¢ offer to work with (little to) no problems, but can't get the "video" .04¢ or .05¢ ones to work at all.
I've found Chrome and cookie/cache clearing to save the day for getting the .35¢ credit.

I have only attempted the video offer (when I had it) after I did the .35 offer. I suspect that because I had done the other that one wouldn't work. I can't remember the message I got when I clicked on the video but it didn't even go to Hipmunk. So if you only get to do one well....

Okay, I've been having better success with this offer in the last few days. I use firefox and make sure to clear cookies. After clicking the offer, I leave the page open with the search results of the hotels for about five or so minutes. I check to see if the credit shows up in my account first before I close out the hotel page. Once I see the credit, then I close out the page. As a matter of fact, I just got credit for this offer today.
Before, it's been hit or miss with this offer, but for the last few days I've gotten credit consistently.
-
This one is a hit or miss for me too, I get credit sometimes sometimes it ignores me, it is a bit frustrating but it is not the only thing I do here so if I don't get pay well it is the nature of the system
-
I got credit again today. Now I did have to try about three times. However, most of the time I don't have to do that. Been consistent for a few days now, so hopefully the trend continues.

That's the point I wanted to make in my long-winded post here (sorry 'bout that). It's usually consistent, but if it won't credit on the 1st try I will close down and clear cookies/cache and do it again immediately until it does. It's been worth it.

For this offer, Clearing cache is a must. Usually it does credit but still there are days went it leaves me baffled.
-
I've had to clear cookies and try up to 4 times for it to credit. It's not working as well as it has.
-
I have been paid for Hipmunk for the past three days. Hooray!
-
Hipmunk seems to stop crediting for me unknown reasons. Although, I cleared my browsing history, cache, and restart my browsing. I even tried it on a different browser. Still, no credit.
-
It has slowed down a lot for me also. Guess I burned the Hip out.
-
Tried four times yesterday with two browsers, never credited. Did not credit today either. That was an easy repeatable offer, too bad it's not working anymore.
-
Got credit again today on the first try. This offer used to be inconsistent for me, but for almost a week now has been crediting for me thanks to the helpful advice of others. I've been clearing cookies and doing this offer through Firefox. Also, leaving the page with the hotel search results open until I see the credit in my account helps.

I've been having issues lately too. Is Hipmunk on a 24 hour cycle? That would explain why it seems to work every other day... Maybe I'm just searching before the 24 hour mark. I usually do it 3 times with 3 browsers and leave it all open hoping one of those browsers accepted the search.

I believe it works on a 24-hour cycle.
Hipmunk Hotel Search - 07/21/2016
Jul 20th $0.35 Approved
I consistently search after midnight (central time), but before 2:00 am (or midnight pacific time). I've been in that routine so long (couple of months) it's like a bedtime story. In my example here Hipmunk posts "7/21/2016" as that is the date in central time, but the "approved" is the same date as pacific time. That "window" of time isn't exactly 24 hours apart, but it is close so the next "posting" date is always moving forward for me. This works because it keeps me on schedule so I have always gotten it daily. It doesn't mean I don't have to try it again, but I alwaysdo until it credits.
Something else to consider -- Hipmunk gets a lot of hits from internet traffic users so don't be surprised at the occasional hiccup when you visit, search long enough and wait for that credit (if I don't see it in 20 min. I'm clearing cookies/cache and reloading). I'm no expert, but suspect the credit slips occasionally due to other users, glitches or even maintenance to the site. I've seen it load with the hotels arranged differently (like last night) and it didn't work; tried again and the hotels were in single-file on the page. I received credit within 9 min. from entering site to seeing it in my account.
-
I don't think it works on a 24-hour cycle. I just did the offer Friday night (after 10 or 11pm EST) and did it again on Saturday in the afternoon. Wasn't sure I would get credit, but I did.
-
I think it resets as the site resets. For FC, after 12am PST, it's a new day and offers are refreshed.
-
It would be great if someone would either fix this or delete it - I've wasted a lot of time on this that could have been put to more productive things.....

Why fix something that works? This has been working for me everyday for about a week now.
-
I'm looking at 8 days straight where it did not credit for me when it did credit for 35 days straight prior - so NO it does not work properly.. Must be because you're a zillion star member.......
-
No, it has nothing to do with that. This offer used to be a hit or miss with me. I clear my cookies and use Firefox. Then I leave the hotel page open until I see the credit in my account. If it doesn't credit the first time, it usually credits the second time.
-
the Hipmunk offer worked and credited for me for months but this past month it does not credit so well. Sometimes if I do it 2 or 3 times it will credit. today I did the offer like 5 times on firefox and chrome and no credit, so I give up on it today.
-
Yep I just got the credit for it yesterday took about 5 or 10 minutes but did get the credit.
-
After a few days of not crediting, I did get credit Saturday, Sunday, and today.
-
I got credit for Hipmunk a couple of days ago but not today.
-
I missed one day last week where I didn't log in. Other than that, it's credited nine days in a row each time that I've attempted this offer.
-
For the last few days this offer does not credit me at all no matter how many times I attempt it. I guess I'll be giving up on Hipmunk very soon.
-
Ya so far I have gotten credit for it one times out of the 3 time I have tried it.
-
I still did not get credit for Hipmunk. Even today I tried it and still no credit. :(
-
I have been getting credit for Hipmunk almost every day. After following the advise of threads in the forum, I always clear cookies, refresh my browser, and log in to the Hipmunk site before doing my search. This routine has been working for me. I do have an occasional time when it doesn't credit, but I suspect it has to do with how long it's been since my last search. If I don't get it one day, I can pretty much be assured that it will credit on the next day. I look forward to my searches. I pick the most expensive hotels just to see what they have to offer and really enjoy browsing through the pictures.
-
I don't know if it matters with the search, but I always select a hotel after it is done searching. It seems to help sometimes... Maybe I should just try it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening and see if that will always get me in the correct time cycle.
-
It works for me whether I select a hotel or not. Today I selected a hotel and it credited the first time.
-
Don't believe everything you read 8)
-
its hit or miss :-X
-
No real issues for me.
-
Knock on wood, but I have high success rate with this little gem of an offer!
