Well keep in mind that eat onions, garlic can make your breath smell? Also other people can smell it better than you can especially if it's on your breath and smell of onions and garlic can come out of your pores too. You won't be able to smell if your use to the smell either useless it's on your clothes. It's also hard to get off your breath. Try waiting a few hours to see if the smell wore out or trying chewing strong smelling gum like peppermint. Olives can make your breath smell as well. Does this help?

If you eat garlic it generally comes out of your pores as well... it may not just be your breath that smells. :)
Cheers to National Fresh Breath Day! Hopefully, everyday is fresh breath day...

Garlic is a hangin' on killer for good breath or sometimes body odor as well. Don't eat it when you're going to be with someone else who is not eating the same thing. :angry7:
You can try the teeth brushing, mouthwash, drink lots of water route, etc., but I don't think it will be effective enough if you're concerned about the smell. :-[
:fish:

ha! We keep an eye on it. My hubby is extremely outrageous when it comes to bad breath while he is working. He announces it at meetings and everyone just thinks he joking haha.
-
I brush twice a day and always, alwayssss keep mints in my purse just in case. A good way to see if your breath stinks is to breath out through your mouth onto the back of your hand in close range, wait a second or two then smell your hand. If you don't smell anything bad you're good to go, but if your breath smells then you'll smell it on your hand.

i am sometimes so i brush three times a day just to keep it under control
-
i am worried about it and i brush four times a day to keep it under control
-
I can tell sometimes if I eat something like you described. I really don't worry about it though.
-
No I do not. I wish one of my co-workers did though. He will come sit with me at lunch and I swear I just want to tell him to please not breath on me.
-
No, I don't worry about bad breath unless I just woke up (morning breath) or if I've eaten onions or garlic. I make sure to carry mints for those occasions and I brush my tongue every time I brush my teeth (they say the tongue carries the most bad breath causing bacteria).

depends if im close to someone i guess

I live alone and good health is a priority. Garlic and onions are both very healthy foods so who do I need to impress?
Just kidding. If I plan to socialize I think ahead. I also buy altoids and gum.

If you have bad breath, you should be able to smell and know you have bad breath.
-
yes coffee breath after I drink my morning coffee at work
-
I never worry about it when I am with my wife, if I need it she is quick to hand me a mint from her purse.
-
I also buy altoids and gum.
-
I always keep mints or gum nearby, sometimes I get so busy and forget about popping something in my mouth. But I don't really worry.
-
I carry toothpaste in my purse to freshen up through the day and am trying to teach my kids to do the same thing but I don't think they actually do it.
-
that's a good point coffee doesn't stay on your too lol. it's good thing a like coffee. Anybody else?
-
I use listerine and brush my teeth several times daily to help keep my breath fresh.
-
I think everyone probably has bad breath sometimes, according to what you eat and your oral routine
-
I brush regularly and avoid any foods that may cause bad breath while I am out. So I don't worry about bad breath that often. My husband keeps a pack of gum in the car for when he needs to go in somewhere, just in case. The thing to keep in mind is that frequently having bad breath can be a medical issue such as halitosis or mouth infections, even gum disease. I know it's difficult for a lot of people to see the dentist regularly but some cases may warrant a check up. Problems, such as frequent bad breath that result from gum disease or gum infections are the main reason for tooth loss, according to my dentist.

All the time thats why i use mouthwash and breath freshners allthe time

I got a deep cleaning, scaling and root planing of gums scheduled Monday. I hear it hurts quite a bit. Has anyone had this and does it hurt as I am hearing. Typically my dentist does the basic cleaning. I scheduled one for my husband first so I'd know what to expect. He's hoping it will help him from feeling like he has bad breath and maybe cut down on the gum chewing.
-
I try to keep my breath in check. I brush my teeth (tongue and gums too) and regularly, floss. On the go I have a small bottle of mouth, little dental flossers, and gum. You never know. ;)
-
No, I do not worry about bad breath, thank God!
-
I've never cared much about my hygiene in the first place.
(Bad experiences with forced baths and all.)
-
I try to avoid bad breath. Coffee is just the worst. I can't believe people drink it without having mints nearby
-
Sometimes but i usually brush my teeth or get a stick of doublemint gum to get rid of the smell
-
no cant say i relly do......... :o
-
Sometimes when I go out I do worry about it, Don't want the person I'm talking to have to walk a few steps away from me just to get some air ahaha.
-
I haven't been chewing gum or mints for a few weeks so I am extra aware of my breath! I carry around a small bottle of mouth wash so at least I can swish and feel a little more fresh!
