Title: Cooper chef not stick pan
Post by: melodylogan45 on September 12, 2016, 05:51:05 am
Has anyone purchased the cooper chef non stick pan? If so, how do you like it? Does it work as good as shown on tv?

Haven't seen or heard anything about it.  Nearly 20 years ago I was a Pampered Chef Consultant.  I had the cookware that they sold then (I think they still sell a version of it now) and I still use the stuff.  No complaints... nothing sticking to the pans still... and I cook in em' bout every day!

I seen it and wondered if it really worked or just another gimmick...the commercial looks really cool though...

I keep thinking i am going to buy one of the copper chief pans and try it. What the heck.  Most of ther skillets suck anyway. You buy and within a few months to a year they are getting nasty, I don't care how well you take care of them.  If they have a non stick  lining i never put them in the dishwasher nor do i use metal  on them and they still get nasty. So i throw away  another one and try something else.  I love my stainless steel, but there are times i like a non stick.

I haven't tried it yet but my sister purchased the 10 inch and she loves it.  I have the green ceramic and I love it.  So easy to clean and have not had anything stick yet and the coating is still in tack after 2 years.

My sister bought it and uses it.  She loves it, says nothing sticks to it.

I may try it down the road.  I always like to wait a bit before trying new things.

I have been thinking about buying one myself. My hubby does most of the cooking so it would make a great Christmas gift for him.

I have seen these advertised and wondered if they did work like they advertise.  My son-in-law wants one so bad and has asked my daughter to go to Ollie's and buy one because they have it for $10.

in my days in professional food service we used industiral pans that could stick . We sometimes used small non stick for breakfast eggs. i'm not familiar with copper as a material if there's any real copper in it. buyer beware

The last non-stick pan we bought I took back to Walmart with crap stuck all over it.  And the sticky paper from inside of it guaranteeing that nothing would stick to it.  I think we fixed scrambled eggs or something like that.

I wished they had invented it before all the kids left home.

Now it is me and my wife so purchasing it probably won't happen.

I keep seeing the advertisements for it, but have not purchased it. It looks interesting, and like it might work, but I know people who have similar "non-stick" copper pans and they don't seem to work. I guess it's one of those things that you have to just try and find out on your own.

My cousin has 2 of them in different sizes.  She thinks that so far they are working grat.  You treat it pretty much like an iron skillet.  You have 2 season it 2 times a year, hand wash, but nothing sticks to it is easy to clean.

I have seen the advertisement but have not ordered it.  I also wondered if it works as well as advertised.   :female: :female: :female: :female:

I have seen the advertisements for the Copper Chef non-stick pan and I have considered buying it. But about a year ago I purchased the Orgreenic pan which sounds very similar. It is non-stick, versatile and suitable for cook top or oven. I love the Orgreenic pan and if I had the money, would buy all the pans in the set. But they are not terribly cheap. They certainly are durable though, they cook food very evenly and there are no chips, knicks or scratches on my pan - in spite of my husband attempting to use it and he burns everything! If I hadn't bought my Orgreenic, I probably would buy the Copper Chef.

I might be willing to take a risk and ask Santa for a Copper Chef pan for Christmas.  I've been pretty good this year.   I like the kind of pans that make me seem like a better cook than I really am.
