Title: Did you work a full day today at work?

My employer let us go a hour earlier due to the holiday weekend. I left work
at 3:30pm and will go back on Tuesday.

How long did you work?

No.
I have the entire day off.   I cleaned... exciting I know.   It's raining here, & the house needed to be cleaned as we are having family over for New Years Day.

It is too bad no Rose Parade till Monday.   We usually have that running & then Football.

I had the entire day off (with pay). It's considered a "holiday" because it's on a Friday. I just spent it at home and did household chores.

I never know for sure how many hours I will work. I'm a sub at the post office. We work til all the mail and packages are delivered. :) 6 hours and 45 minutes today.

I started at 7 am this morning and just took a break at 745 pm. We are always busy at year end.

Not today...normally we would get the offer for leave early (I'm in tech support) at this time but didn't happen.

I am happy for the ones who get to go home early from work.  In my field I stay until my shift is over.

Yes I work a Walmart and I have to go in and work 8 hours today.  Hope everyone has a good day and may

I have had the last two weeks off from my day time job which allowed me to earn some major overtime at my night time job. I finished my project for the night time job and it does not look like another project will come in until Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017. The daytime job always lets people out at noon before a big holiday but I still end up working all day as I like to exceed my goals. I am just finishing up my end of the year goals, taking care of a few posts, and preparing for two days of rest and relaxation ( I have off on Monday as well). This is the most relaxed that I have been since last year at this time when I took two weeks off. I still worked twenty hours during the two weeks off but wasn't under any obligation to do so.

The boss of my boss (my boss was out on vacation) kicked us out about 15 minutes early. Nobody really took the option though.

my first day back today from 9 day vacation......only had to work from 7-12:30 pm.  It was nice coming home early, my fibro been acting up so my couch was looking GOOD!!  (got on FC, only .50 from cashout...yaay!)

Monday was a holiday as New Year falls on Sunday this year.  So had a nice 3 day weekend.

Nope, I'm off for another 12 days. I work for the school district and I'm off when the kids are off.

They let us go at 3 pm but usually we leave at 1 or 2 pm. They are cutting down their niceness I guess! lol ... At least we got to go home earlier than usual. I clock out at 4 pm every day.

      I do not have an employer. I am pretty much on my own terms. Yes! I work 40 hours a week. Work is good for your mind, body and soul.

I was on winter break.  I work for a University so we have extra days off .  Yeah

No. Right now I am not allowed to work. I cant handle being around a lot of people. Initially it started out as my seizures now everything has gone down hill.

I worked 12 hours today even with all the bad weather.  The person who was suppose to come in at 4:00 pm could not come in because her driveway was a sheet of ice, so we kept the store open until 6:00 pm and then closed.
