Title: Postings on Facebook
Post by: o2bnocn on January 05, 2017, 09:59:44 am
Do you post whatever you want? Do you ever think twice about posting? Do you almost post something then don't post it? Do you ever worry about how you appear?

I have to admit I don't take FB postings seriously; people are usually putting on a façade anyway so I just take it as entertainment for the moment and keep it moving.

Yes I type stuff to post on Facebook and then delete it before posting not usually because I care if non-family members see it, but because I worry about the affect something I say there might have on relatives. My daughters often complain about stuff I say there so I am super careful about sharing stuff.

I usually post whatever on FB. That's not to say I don't take into consideration others opinions/thoughts on subjects we may disagree with. But my list is very small, only about 8 people, and we're all pretty easy going so I don't have to really worry about drama.

I usually do not post on Facebook unless it to wish someone Happy Birthday or wish some well or offer prayers.  I try to spend more doing surveys to earn extra money

I'm pretty selective about what I post and share.  I have family who are religious oriented and I don't usually want to step on their toes.

I use to post everything that I thought but now I only post neutral things that I know my friends will like. I try to avoid conflict.

I stopped worrying about FB a loooong time ago.... I used to like it but after seeing friends posting every single thing they were doing I got tired. And I don't need people to know where I am every single moment of my day or what I am doing...

As a matter of fact I don't even go on FB as much as I used to. I mainly use it to check on some "friends" of mine, out of curiosity..  ;)))

I usually only post pictures of my kids. Once in awhile I will post what we did as a family. I don't care how I appear to others. I am only friends with people I really know & they really know how I am.

I only post things that are APPROPRIATE and that wouldn't come back to haunt me later. Too many people post and then regret it later. THINK PEOPLE!

I post just about whatever I want, but I don't accept friends that I do not know.  We have a private family page that I use a lot.

I don't post a lot.  Mostly things I think my "friends" would find amusing.  But when my mother died, I posted that on Facebook and recieved an outpouring of sympathy and support.  I appreciated that immeasurably.

I'm not a big poster on Facebook.  It may be due to my age and found it great fun to reconnect with people I had gone to school with or other childhood friends.   It became stressful during the election when some folks I was friends with began posting false stories and really hateful posts if one did not agree with their opinion.   There were many times I tried to have adult conversations feeling that we could respect each others opinions and differences.   It quickly became obvious that was not the case.  There were a couple of folks I had to unfriend because I just couldn't  deal with the hateful posts.  For me, I want Facebook to be a fun experience.

Sometimes I rant on FB. Sometimes I go back and see what I posted and reconsider what i have posted. Sometimes I will delete hoping no one saw my rant.

Yes, I used to post my vents and rants and I learned my lesson the hard way! I keep my business to myself and am very cautious when posting so no one can use anything against me like they did in the past! Your business is meant for you and you only. :) So if anyone is interested they can follow me on YouTube and on my new facebook page under #kcurrieweightloss. Have a beautiful day everyone! Its's snowing on the East Coast!  :o

I don't think anyone really cares what they post except if the post is way beyond the norm.  I have read some iffy posts on FB.  FB is fun for most people and a way to let off steam for others.  it's all in what you want to post.  Although some customers on FB do post some of their personal info.  Not sure why they do it, but I would never do it. From what I read on FB some people are lonely and enjoy spilling all their personal info.  TMI

I don't post very often on FB. Usually it's a humorous meme, or a picture of one of my favorite actors. I do comment a lot on other people's posts, which often turns into a political argument, LOL! But I guess I like to argue too much, and I'm very opinionated when it comes to politics and history.

I sometimes post family updates or photographs on FB; occasionally I'll post a short video. I also post sports related snippets when my favorite team has won a tough game or something like that.  I also paste links on FB to any new blog posts I write.

I keep it clean and try to conduct myself on FB in the same way I would in public.  Over the past few years, FB has turned into a cess pool of political soapboxes, which I usually read with interest, but never respond. It is way too easy to offend or get branded.  There have been several times where I came close to breaking my "no politics on FB" rule, and have even typed up responses only to delete them without posting.

FB is great for keeping in touch, but it isn't worth the risk of losing a friend.  So when I see a political rant that I agree with, I give a silent thumbs up in my mind.  When I see one that I disagree with, I formulate a mental response and fume a bit about it, but ultimately resolve in myself that the person has a right to his/her opinion and I move on to the next funny animal or baby video in my FB feed.

Yes, I post whatever I want, but sometimes may block certain people from seeing things. In general, I am pretty careful about who I friend, so it's not like I have random people all up in my business.

I do post on Facebook but never something that would offend or hurt someone.  Facebook is supposed to be used as a social media to keep in touch with family and friends and find people you've lost contact with and not a platform to bully or humiliate.

I am cautious about what I post. I have a lot of fb friends that are only friends for games or discussion boards. They don't need to know everything I do.
