Just heard he is in a hospital with bleeding intestines. They were going to operate, but he is too weak and may not survive surgery. Gee that's a shame 😃 All the money spent keeping this idiot alive is pathetic.
-
Our California prisons are doing a fine job at keeping people alive... he's 82!
What a wonderful free health care system, if you're a prisoner.. not so good if you're a law abiding individual. But I digress...
-
omg! I did not know he was even still alive! I hope he served his time repenting and changing his thoughts and ways for the better before going to the great beyond!
-
Karma always pays back in the end...sometimes it just takes a little longer than others.
-
I think they may be using him being "too weak" as an excuse not to operate because of the money it would cost to do so. Also, what doctor really wants to work to keep an infamous criminal like that alive? Just theories. It might be cheaper and easier for his health to worsen over time in his cell and eventually die there.
-
So maybe now is the time to give him a shot of "permanent sleepy juice"!!!!
-
As long as it is just life-saving surgery, I see it as humane. We don't want to be on his level.
One comfort is God Almighty will see to it the other "health issues" of his soul are paid for.

Wow - I hadn't heard bout Manson being ill. I too didn't realize he was still alive. I agree with adriarobi - only God has control. While living worldly he may be paying some uncomfortable prices until he dies.

I had forgotten all about Charles Manson, which is as good a punishment as any. Maybe the wise solution is just make him comfortable and let him go. I wonder if, at age 82, he is still the lunatic he was when he was young.
-
Oh wow i didnt hear about that, thats crazy!

Hubs and I watched a few 'interviews" with Manson. In a way, he had some really wise, thoughtful and truthful sayings. I guess he had plenty of time to think but I don't think he has any remorse for what he ordered done those horrific nights. Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys was very lucky to have moved from his house since Mason was out to "take care of him" for ignoring Manson.

Apparently, the parole board thinks so since he's been up for parole plenty and has always been denied.
So, whatever happened with his "bleeding intestines?" Saw the story about it and never heard another thing. If he died, it wouldn't be a great loss.

Reminds me of a story I heard several years ago I think it was. There was some young girl, only in her 20's at the time I think, who had "fallen in love" with Manson after corresponding with him in prison and was desperately trying to get married to him, but there was some kind of red tape preventing it. In the end, I don't recall if it was speculation or actually proven, but IIRC she was actually just out for a quick and easy buck since she expected he would not live much longer and that if she was his legal spouse, the body would eventually be released to her once he died. The rumored plan was that she would put him on some sort of side-show display and charge people a fee to see her husband's body or final resting place or whatever.

I wouldn't want to be him when he is facing eternity.

ti his wrigh as a personer to the beart health care

Crazy...prisons cost so much though the death penalty is expensive too...best solution is to keep people out of jail
-
I guess I could never be a surgeon, there aren't enough humane considerations that could induce me to try to save that scumbag's life.
-
It's a shame the money they have spent on him all of these years. He should have been sentenced to death not life.
-
He and his entire group were sentenced to the death penalty. Then something happened with the State Supreme Court and everyone in his group (and anyone else on death row) were commuted to life in prison. They have all been coming up for parole, but so far none have gotten out. Shortly after they got life, the old death penalty was re-instated. But all of the people on death row at the time got out of it.

I haven't thought of Charles Manson for years. Reading here in Fusion Cash, I learned he was ill and hospitalized.
Just Googled him, and it appears he is still alive...

Charles Manson alive amid report he's hospitalized, official says

I hadn't heard that, but it IS a shame to keep people like him for suffering when he WATCHED so many people suffer and felt no remorse. Karma, I am READY for your visit to these type of people!
-
I heard he was sick but did not know about the surgery. He has never felt any remorse
-
that's California :o

I don't remember him. Maybe I am too young or perhaps I need a refresher course. What did he do? I hope it wasn't too evil or sinister. Whatever is the outcome, Will let God decide his fate!
