Didn't even realize I was still advertising for referrals on FC.

Yaaaaay, good job.  I suppose if you build it, they will come.  What would be nice in your case would be if they not only come but stay as well.  Then you will have an active referral who will help you earn.

I just placed about 6 banner URL's in various traffic sites. I'm hoping to gain referrals along the way.

That's awesome! I haven't tried to get any referrals for a couple months. Guess It's time to get back to work since all of mine aren't active.

You can ask family and friends... although they get tired of that pretty quickly. Flyers are pretty cost-effective.

Everywhere... I used to do a lot of flyers, ads on Craigslist, click exchanges ... even paid Internet advertising. Basically stopped doing any of that for FC though, that's why it was a surprise.

I have 101 referrals. The best part is when I know they cashed out:
1. They made money at a free site I introduced them to.
2. By cashing out, I got a 5 buck bonus!

Now that's the BEST!
