If you had to choose between swearing off of music and swearing off of movies, which would you swear off of and why? I would swear off of movies because I need to listen to music to ease stress and do exercise.
-
I would swear off music.
Seems I rarely listen to music. So, although I would miss it, I could live without it more than movies.
I need to listen to more music!
-
Definitely would swear off movies = especially todays' movies- none of which are usually worth seeing!!
-
I love music. I cannot live without it.
-
Used to love music and movies.
But much music and many movies now are not worth the time or money.
I am a great-grandmother now, and really do not like much of what the kiddos are exposed to any more.

Definitely movies. I cannot live without music. Music is my life.
-
Movies, although this is an awful choice. I love movies and music. Although there is usually quite a bit of music in movies.

Well, if I swore off of movies for real, I would listen to music from the soundtracks of the movies.
-
This is a hard one but I will say Music because I love it...and Movies would be my second choice.
-
Music, I only listen to it to begin with in the vehicle driving my girls to & from school.
-
dont know...i love music...its playing in the vehicle or when i exercise...i could probably so without movies..now hubby would say music...he loves movies and cannot stand music

Then you shouldn't need to watch movies or listen to music with each other.
-
movies...lol...since I really don't watch them anyway...couldn't live without music (which movies have btw)
-
movies. pretty much for the same reason. music relaxes me. I use it for exercising, for cleaning...while i'm cooking.
-
Same here - movies because then I could still watch tv programs and I rarely watch movies anyway. I need music for sure it is a part of my spiritual life and also like you said eases stress. I don't exercise but I certainly have stress that needs relieved.
-
This is such a difficult choice. I would not want to give up either but is I absolutely HAD to I'd swear off music. I love my movies too much especially the classics.
-
It would be movies with all of the stars that are so busy trying to turn our lives around because we voted for Trump, they are not any better at knowing what is going on then what we are. If you don't have something nice to say why say any thing. As for the music i prefer the oldies, some of the music now i have know idea what is going on except so much of it is smutty.
-
I guess music, but I don't care for the new movies that Hollywood is putting out.
-
Since there are hardly any good movies coming out out anymore I would pick movies. As far as music goes there are a lot of underground bands out there that are good but new music that has any commercial appeal forget it.
-
since i'm a dancer i could never swear off music. I'm a die hard country fan but we dance to many different kinds of music.
very rarely go to the movies,,,, i would say we have been there maybe once in the last 6 months LOL I could do that pretty easy !!!
-
Tough call, but ultimately, I'd have to say I'd swear off movies.
-
I'm not a huge fanatic of either one so I don't care if I don't have either one. I could live withought both.
-
That's a good question to ponder. I would give up movies. So much of the music I listen to is Gospel, Christian inspirational. Movies on the other hand with an underlying Christian theme are difficult to come by.
-
Movies, since it's a lot more expensive to go see one.
-
movies....I don;t have the patience to sit through one (I would much rather be doing something productive) and since so many actors/actresses have felt a need to use their stage as a "political platform"---I've lost what little respect I had left, for them.
-
I would swear off music. I love my movies.
-
I wouldn't want either to go away, but I would choice movies for this ?
-
Goodbye to movies if given a choice. Have anyone watched a movie without music in it (besides the old days of silent movies)?
-
No way, can't do it. I have loved music and movies all my life.
-
I couldn't live without music.

Dear Lord, people. Please don't turn every occasion into a political one. Just answer the question at hand. My answer is that I have been thinking and thinking about which I could give up and I don't think I could pick without a gun to my head!!!
-
Do not know, maybe both.If i hear it doesn't mean i have to practice.
-
I would swear off Music I can live without that if there's movies for me to keep me distracted.
-
I think I would swear off music, I like seeing movies specially on weekends.
-
i guess no more music for me,,i like talkshows..........
-
Why would you need to make this choice? Me, if I had to I would cut out movies, too expensive now for my tastes!
-
I don't listen to as much music as I used to so that would have to be the one for me.
