Title: Shopping online
Post by: tnshpalmer85 on January 28, 2017, 05:27:02 pm
Does anyone else prefer to shop online instead of the stores? I do. I just feel like you have more items to choose from online and you do not have to wait in lines. I also love getting my items shipped to my home. It just seems more convenient and fun for me.

Yup, I do, too!  I can find things online that I USED to find in store, but don't anymore.  As you stated, it's convenient and everything is delivered straight to my door.  Who wouldn't like this?

I tend to like shopping in physical stores, because I can experience the product I'm looking for with my senses, but there are times when I like online to look for something hard-to-find, like just the right pair of boots.  You can see 300 different paris without going to 300 different stores, for example.

Shopping online is the wave of the future.  Pretty soon department stores will be just showrooms -- that's all.

I enjoy shopping online...it gives me more free time, allows me to shop when I want to, in the relaxed comfort of my home and it saves on gas.   :present: :present: :present: :present: :) :) :) :)

I like shopping online, but I really wouldn't want to get pants because if they don't fit, I'd have to return them. If I wanted t-shirts, or purses, or accessories, then I don't mind buying online.

It depends on what it is.  It's easier for me to find what I want online without the hassle of crowds but sometimes like with shoes I want it right there and a lot of times online it's a hassle to return if there's no physical store you can just return the product too.

I was able to do all of my holiday shopping online this year. There were some delivery hiccups but all merchandise was received. I received some Jerseys three weeks after Christmas and some sunglasses four weeks after. I just printed pictures of the items and put them in a wrapped box. It was almost kind of nice getting the presents a little bit late...like having a second and third holiday.  I ordered these presents during the second week of December and should have known that there would be a delivery backlog. I will order my gifts no later than November tenth this year. I did have two gifts that was purchased at the local mall. My neighbor and son were going to the mall and I asked them to pick up two gift certificates for me.

I shop online through my points.com. I get points that I can use for gift cards after spending so much money.

I don't know if there are more items or not.  I like shopping online but do not like having to pay for shipping or wait for the item.  Then worry if someone will steal my package before I get home.  And returning is a huge hassle.  But I hate dealing with people more and more every day.  So not shopping IN store is a good thing.

I just love the luxury of sitting in one place and getting you need with click click click instead of going through the hassle of sweating at stores.

I really do love online shopping but I also like to shop in stores. it just depends on how much time I have, online shopping is very convenient and you do have a wide selection of items. There are so many cool shopping sites and I love to look even when I am not ready to purchase anything. Some things I prefer to buy in a store(like clothes) in case I have to go back and return or wxchange it.It is also fun to receive packages in the mail!

I love shopping online, especially when there are extra rebates and free shipping (even if I have to spend a certain amount). It's always worth an online search to see if there are any coupons that the store has (or even retailmenot).

I have been shopping on line because of the Amazon gift cards i get doing surveys.  And bank them till i reach 50.00 plus to get the free freight. I've been ordering all my dogs food with them so I'm delighted with this way of shopping and in 2016 i placed 8 orders so over 400.00 in cards. I order my dog cases of cans of food and having them delivered to my door step is really handy i have steps to get into my place and the heavy cases suck hauling up the steps.  My dogs wish list on Amazon is massive and is fun sorting threw when its time to order. I spoil my dog rotten.

It depends on what I am shopping for. If it is for electronics or clothing, I prefer to shop in the stores because I can ask the appropriate questions, visualize, touch, and test the product(s). For most other things, however, I prefer to shop online.

Some things I prefer having shipped to the house, but we have the Walmart grocery pickup now and Sam's CLub has click and pull, so all I have to do is pick up those items. I hate going during a busy weekend! I do also like shopping with eBay and Amazon for certain items, like out of print books.

Other places, like clothing stores, I would rather go into than purchase online. Some items are that way for me.

I prefer online shopping but mostly because I hate parking at the mall by my house. It's always packed. The only thing I'd rather shop in stores for is shoes and pants just because of the fit!

every month, I make a list.
I don't have a car.
I have a handicap and use a walker.
online shopping had been working for me for years now.
when you go to the store for big items, they need to be assembled and you can't bring them home anyway.
I use a few cashback websites; that's fun and rewarding too.

I like shopping online, especially for bridal/wedding gifts.  I go to their registry, put item in cart and send it directly to the bride's address.  I don't have to cart a gift along to the wedding.  it gets there and it is something they wanted.

I prefer shopping online too, I like that I can read the customer reviews to see if the product is well-made or not.  It's also so much easier to quickly compare prices and find the best deals when you're shopping online :)

I do both.

There are things I buy online, because I can get my brand cheaply and easily without going out for it. Especially items not so easy to find in typical stores.

I like physical stores for things (like groceries) I want right now. Since I don't do drones, this works for me. ha ha!

I prefer to shop online too. You don't have to take a shower and get dressed to go out shopping and there seems to be so much more to choose from online than in the stores. The unpleasant thing is that you have to mail it back if it turns out not to be exactly what you wanted. The prices often seem to be better online too.

I've been doing most of my shopping on-line since 2007, due to lack of time to drive to a bunch of stores and waste all day shopping only to come home exhausted & still have to unload the stuff from car to house.

I go to a couple of grocery stores a week (for their deals) and bi-weekly to the Dollar Tree (for cat litter).  Sometimes I get a really good coupon for another store close by & I'll go but otherwise, all the other shopping is done on-line.

My fave is shopping online for the 5 fur-kids (pet food) at chewy.  They have the best prices (the brands I buy from them aren't carried by Petco or PetSmart), free shipping on orders over $49, auto-ship available and those heavy boxes delivered right to the house!  So nice!  (and they carry treats, toys, supplies too!)  Makes my life easier & the "kids" go crazy every time their order arrives.  :)

Since I'm unable to drive and can't walk far or stand in long lines, I've been doing all my shopping on line. I started before I had the knee problem but not total shopping on line, but now that's all I do. It's so helpful.

I still have to go grocery shopping, which I do once every 2 months instead of every week. A local store used to have a service where you call the order in and they did the shopping, then all you had to do was go pay for it and pick it up. They discontinued it and I don't know why. Oh, well. it's nice to get out somewhere besides a doctor's office. :)

I love shopping online to compare site to site to get the best price or to find a particular item that I cannot find in store. Always love free shipping and excitement when package arrives.
