My funds that got frozen in November 2013 at Payza are STILL frozen. All US citizens had there funds frozen by the USDOJ. I have tried repeatedly to get an update from USDOJ about this, and they hardly answer me. It has been over 3 years and I have almost 2 grand frozen there. What I also do not understand is in 2014 US citizen started using Payza again. But my funds are still frozen.
Can anyone give me any info on this situation? Payza did not reply to me and USDOJ does not either. They have a website on this matter, but they have not updated it in nearly a year.

Sorry, I'm unfamiliar with Payza so I don't have any advice. Are you from the US? Perhaps contacting your congressman to find out more information might be helpful.
-
All I can tell you is I am using Payza now and it works fine.
-
Any US citizen that had their funds frozen at Payza in November 2013, please make a comment with what has happened with you?
-
Mine are too, almost $100 down the drain.
-
I got a response from them almost a year ago basically saying Payza had been turned over to someone else and my funds right along with the turnover.
-
I'm only familiar with Payza by name. However, I have heard of cases, other than those stated here, where there have been some issues.
Based on what I'm reading from this thread, there are serious issues. I sincerely hope for everyone's sake that this problem gets resolved soon.
-
I have never used payza, hope you get your money
-
What is Payza?
-
Maybe you can contact a Legal Aid in your area and ask them what you or they could do about this? Maybe there are enough people in your same position for a collective lawsuit. I don't know! Have you researched what agency or organization has jurisdiction over managing these funds?
-
I have never heard of Payza, what is it? Just curious.

The USDOJ froze all the funds for US citizens that had funds in Payza in Nov 2013. I have tried many times to contact the USDOJ and the couple of times they answered me in the last 3 years was this reply: "We have no update on this case."
Surely, many others are in the same boat as I am on this. Comments from those are welcome.

that's scary >:(

Payza is still on Facebook and listed in Google searches. Funny if the Dept. Of Justice is involved and investigating them. Are you sure you followed rules and regulations? If someone is still successfully using them here in the U.S. as stated above, you need to file a ticket with Payza's Customer Service if you haven't already done so or move on to Dispute in their Resolutions Department. Contact your state regulatory agency for Financial Affairs or whatever it is called in your state. Just be sure you were following the rules and on the "up and up" when you were using Payza.

Wow that's really a bummer for you but if its been Three years already just give up they most likely forgot about you or unless there's more people they are still trying to help fix the problem with. Thank god I only lost $$$ with Payza.

Doug speaks the truth.I have $40 in oblivion in it.I actually gave up but ill be D*mmed if i ever use it again.I feel more secure with Paypal.

I sign up for it long time ago, and it said it transfer to another owner or something, and then I cash it all out.

Is this like paypal but less known?

I guess my link that I posted here to the USDOJ page got deleted. But it you simply do a Google search on 'Payza USDOJ', a link will come up to a page from USDOJ that is nearly a year old now. You will see that this matter applied to all US citizens that had Payza funds.
-
I heard payza had troubles in the past regarding payments and processing... I wouldn't trust tht service and would stick to other services like paypal or cryptocurrency
-
Today I finally sent a long letter with supporting documents to my Congressman about the Payza situation, since the USDOJ is involved.
-
never heard of Payza What is it?
-
Try again. Give them a call and tell them you cannot access your funds.
-
sorry to hear your funds are frozen. i did not see any thing current about frozen account I do see something back in 2014. I am sorry .

i found and update from last year
Obopay/Payza
The United States government, including Homeland Security Investigations and the Washington, D.C. Financial Crimes Task Force, continues to conduct a criminal investigation. As part of that investigation, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia has requested a United States District Judge to pause current civil litigation relating to Payza and Obopay. The Judge has extended the pause in litigation until June 29, 2016. Shortly thereafter, additional information will be made available on this website about the status of this investigation.
If you have questions or concerns about your Obopay or Payza account, please email USADC.OBOPAYZA@usdoj.govEmail links icon or call 202-252-1903. Please include your name, email address, and contact information in your message. Someone will respond to your email or call within 3 business days.

Wow that is a lot of money. I opened a payza account at one point years ago and never used it. Boy now I'm glad. Not that it couldn't happen to a bank or paypal but so far I have had no problems with paypal. Well I hope something good happens and your money gets released.
-
I never used that. I guess its a good thing. Hopefully you guys will get your money back.
-
I would try to contact payza again and ask why it's frozen. Do should be able to give you your money back.

Payza support just tells me to contact the USDOJ about it. That is what I have tried to do the last 3 years and have gotten nowhere with the USDOJ as far as finding out what is going on.

To clarify what I know from my experience with Payza since about 2007 and learned from going through this same frozen account problem, where fortunately I only lost less than $50. I went back 9 months ago and started using them again, because they were the best solution for a website I earn from that got dumped by PayPal and I needed an easy way to pay and get paid to continue with them. I just make sure I transfer the money when my balance gets higher than I am willing to lose. That goes for PayPal too.
As I see it, the problem was not from Payza in the first place (they were the victim of USDOJ) and after running thousands of dollars through them, I still find their service valuable and easy to use.

I wrote a long letter with supporting documents to my congressman about my frozen Payza funds 4 months ago now. He said he contacted USDDOJ, but has YET to hear anything at all from them. Not even a simple status update on the case from USDOJ. I guess they do not care about Congressional letters. The recording on the USDOJ voice mail says they will return your call in 3 business days. They have not returned my calls (or my emails) in over a year now. It's like a total BLACKOUT on it. >:(

I doubt anybody here can give you any info in why your funds are frozen or when they will be released. I have never heard of Payza. If it is something like PayPal I would never let my balance get that high. But you never know what can happen.
-
Yeesh. I'm sorry to hear. I had used another service that I linked to my bank account and I was fine, but for securitycomfort, I never really left Paypal. I think I might have used Payza before or a name it use to go before. But too bad it's not more protected.

Yes,that is way too much money for them to just have frozen. Contact BBB they sometimes can get to the bottom of these complaints.
