When was the last time you had to take a bus somewhere? Now they have smart buses that will come to your residence to
pick you up. I believe you pay a fee and arrange a time. I have not tried uber. Have you? What other forms of transporatation
Have you taken?

well i haven't actually ridden a city bus, just going to school. thought about working with uber.
-
I have not used uber as well but it seems interesting.

I have used Uber as a rider and a drive for Uber occasionally when I want to make a few extra dollars. I won't drive at night or do bar pick ups, and I have never had a problem. The money is pretty good... (better than beating my head against a wall for 5 cents to do the pay to click). A couple of trips to the airport and back will net me about $30. As a rider, I love Uber for the quickness and convenience.... not waiting a long time on a taxi and knowing in advance what the cost will be. Its great!

We use Uber frequently. It's simple, it's quick, and all the drivers so far have been friendly. :) None of us drive, so we always either walk, take the bus, or use an Uber. The only thing I don't like about the Uber app is apparently you have to use a different credit card for each individual app. What if people share a credit card?!

I use yellow cab, walk or people drive me.
-
Try walking sometimes do you some good and costs nothing  8)

I like to use public transportation wherever possible to cut down on my impact on the environment that happens when I use my car. I take a bus about 200 miles to visit my daughter, for example, and usually take a train every time I go into New York City for something.
-
I mostly walk or drive. Haven't taken the local bus in years. Unless I'm traveling I have taken the cab, bus, and tried uber once.
-
I don't drive but i didn't think about a bus around here.
-
People drive me to places. Gotta get my license soon.

its been probley 25 years ago.........

The last time I have taken the bus was back in September 1997. After I bought my car, I have not taken public transportation. It would be nice to take the bus again and experience it all over on certain trips. I have never used Uber because I don’t know how safe its service is.

I use public transportation. It is reliable most of the times. Save on fuel cost, repairs and insurance. Spend your savings in other things you need.
-
I don't currently own a car so I ride the City bus quite often. I also ride a bike and my legs are a form of transportation for me. If I'm feeling tired and I don't want to wait for the bus I'll pay for a taxi.
I always use a taxi on New Years Eve so I can get to and from home safely after I've had a drink.

I either take the us or call Lyft for a ride I don't take uber cause they way over charge from where I'm at.
-
I live in a small town and have my own car, so I use my car.
We do have County bus service that you can buy tokens for and get rides. I see this bus service out on the streets every day. It is wheel chair accessible.
It is a valuable service.

I have my own car for transportation.
We took a trip to Reno last summer for a convention. 6 of us left the hotel to go to dinner. We had to take 2 cabs because there were 6 of us. We decided to "uber" it to go back to the hotel. We ordered an XL Uber and it was a little cheaper than one of the cab rides to the restaurant! Of course I live in a small town where Uber hasn't reached yet but I will consider them again in the future!!!

I drive myself wherever i need to go. I just don't trust uber or public transportation.
-
I haven't taken a bus for almost 9 months at this point. Once you finish school, you don't really have a need for any mode of transportation aside from car.
-
It has been a very long time since I road a bus. I would never use Uber. I drive where ever I want to go.
-
I use public transportation. A car is out of my budget at the moment.
-
I haven't used "public" transportation for about 20 yrs. now and sincerely think I wouldn't use a bus or train ever again. I might try "uber" if I really needed to go somewhere and didn't have my own transportation but that's about where it ends.
-
There is no public transportation where I live, no Uber and No cabs either. If you don't have your own car or a reliable friend you'd have to foot it wherever you needed to go around here. Going to have some work done on your car, you have to rent a car for the day or sit and wait until it is done.
-
Other places that I have lived we've used cabs on the regular to go to clubs...no drinking and driving, no DWI. Luckily we are in our 40's and have no real desire to go clubbing anymore. Don't drink anymore either.
-
Use car in the suburbs and bus/walk in the city.
-
I have never heard of a smart bus but that does sound like a great idea. I only ever road a bus once and that was a last minute thing when I was in Pittsburgh one time.
