i do not i just have a basic phone i can not see spending all that money on a smart phone and then you have too keep up grading them
-
I have a good old LG flip phone and its on its 6th year of working (knock on wood) and i use a prepay verizon calling plan for 30 bucks a month, I have a short address book with most numbers being stores I do business with, I started in the computer world and got burnt out and didn't touch them for years and had a land line. I'd think about a smart phone, but holy they cost so much to get one and regret it.
-
I have a droid and its ok , not complaining yet.
-
I love my iPhone. It's not only good for personal use and entertainment but it allows me to earn more on survey sites.
It saves me money because I use it as a camera, music player and fitness tracker. One device for many uses saves money plus I have money saving apps downloaded
-
No i don't have one my son has one it costs him about 40.00 a month. I'd like one but only to make money with. You can do ibotta, check out 51 and a few others that pay you like a rebate.Still the cost of the phone is probably to much.

I have an iPhone7plus since a few weeks.... this one was soo expensive that I would have never considered it.
But I got it with no down payment at all and a decent monthly rate.... so that is fine.
To be honest, I would not be able to be without a smartphone anymore... it has too many things, utilities and apps I use every day.
-
I think I will get one someday but right now I really don't need one. I just have a basic cell phone.
-
We'll be eligible to upgrade to an iPhone 7 next month. I have the 6 right now and I really like it. Good picture and lots of room for apps and pictures.
-
Yes, upgraded two years ago from the flip phone. I mostly play games on it and talking to it instead of typing is also nice.
-
I love my iPhone. I do really on it.
-
i have a samsung galaxy phone which i use for both work and personal
-
I own three one for family calls one for social and one for work, hard to keep track sometimes but I did sorta get used to it when I swap.
-
I own a few smartphones but they are the cheap ones that work with tracfone. Each time I get one it seems they discontinue and then the next one is better. Right now I have an Alcatel that does all I need it to do. I refuse to invest in an expensive phone seeing how I cannot get a signal from where I live. I can usually pick up a signal strong enough to make or receive calls in the nest town over about 30 minutes away. I do all my shopping there and just have the phone for emergencies and all the fun apps that I can run off my home Wi-Fi.
-
I never wanted or thought I would need or use an iPhone. But everyone talked me into getting one a few years ago, and I could kick myself for waiting so long, I love it. There are so many different things you can use it beside calling and receiving phone calls. I would never give it up.
-
Yes. It's not the latest but it's a smart phone.
-
Yes. I am looking for a new phone. Can't decide which brand to go with.
-
When I had just a basic phone I didn't think it would be worth it to get a smartphone either. But I got a free iPhone from Verizon three years ago when my family signed a contract with them and I find the iPhone to be incredibly useful and handy to have.
-
I have an iphone 6, planning to change it to a 7 in a few months.
-
yes but its a cheap tracphone
-
Yep. I have a smart phone now because I dropped my flip phone and it broke in two pieces. I've complained about using it on the forum, but I'm getting better and better at using it.
I feel like I'm in the 21st century now. It was not expensive and the monthly charge isn't either.
It's a Samsung Amp 2 and I got it from a company named for a noisy black insect. Didn't know if I could say the real name of the company. :dontknow:
:fish:

oh yes...love my smartphone..it does so much...and i use almost every app i have downloaded or thats on the phone..saves me so much time
-
I have a smartphone, and use it all the time, but rarely for calls. I get unlocked phones from Amazon, and have a Straight Talk plan where you can bring your unlocked phone. It's not really expensive, and I have a lot of moneymaking apps that offset some of the cost.
-
I need my smart phone to keep my finances organized..lol. Sad but true. This is the wave of the future and the more technology grows the more intrigued I become and need to keep up with it.
-
Yes, I have a smart phone.
-
No, I don't have a smart phone. I don't really need one.
-
I don't want a smart phone. People kind of disappear from life when they get one.
Besides, they seem so vulnerable to spyware etc.

-
yes i have a droid. it suits the purpose.
-
Yes I do. I have an android.
-
I'm sorry you find that a hassle. I wouldn't like living without a smartphone.
-
Yes and I love it.
-
I do have a smartphone and I like it very much. They are so many things you can do. There are apps that let you make money and games you can play.
-
You do not necessarily HAVE to upgrade a smartphone. But in this day and age, where it is the norm to posses the latest technology (which I still do not understand), people change out their phones within 4-6 of purchasing them...which is a stupid waste of money. Oh well, it isn't mine.
-
Yes, I have a smartphone. I love it, it keeps me entertained on the go plus I keep in touch with family and friends.
-
I love my smartphone. I use my computer much less now that I have it. (other than doing surveys)
-
I have an iPhone and I love it, though I have a 5, not a 7 since it costs so much to upgrade. But I hear the new iPhone 8 is coming soon, so I hope that will make the 6's cheap enough for me to want to buy. A smartphone is a computer, camera, and entertainment center, all rolled into one - and of course it's a phone too!
-
I just recently got one, my daughter bought it for me. I like it but am still learning how to use it
-
Yes, I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S7. Previously, my first couple smartphones were Apple I-Phones. However, I decided to make the switch to Samsung, and I'm glad I did. I feel like the overall layout of the phone is more casual than that of the I-Phone, and I feel as if the platform itself just runs smoother. But, to each his own!
-
samsung 5
-
Yes, I have an Iphone7 with cheap monthly rate for our plan and my husband have a 25% from his company.
-
Sill have my iPhone 5S. Hoping for an upgrade soon.
-
Yes, I have an iPhone 5S. Very happy with it, did not feel the need to upgrade!
-
oh yeah it is my sidekick...have so much stored on it
-
Note 4 love it. I would not trade it for the world only another note.
-
Yes, I have an iPhone 5S. Very happy with it, did not feel the need to upgrade!
Yes, some upgrades are worthless. I hate Windows 10 for computers. It's way too innovative (i.e., the new ideas in that Windows upgrade do not cut it for me)!
-
I own an iPhone smartphone.
-
Currently have the 6, may change to the 7 in a few months.
-
No i don't rather have my hands free.
-
Yes I do, I like having newer technology. It helps me make more money online. But you can actually get some pretty decent smart phones, for not much cost nowadays. May not be the newest but still work great.
-
Yes I do! I wouldn't go back to the flip or basic now!
-
I own a smartphone, but I do more than just make phone calls with it. I have it loaded with Microsoft office to do work. I also can check my emails through it rather than having to waste time during the day at the computer to clear them out. I also use my phone to kill time when I'm on a long line somewhere like the DMV or the bank. I've got it loaded with music and games which is a better way to kill time than stand there and gripe the place doesn't have another cashier/teller. I also take a lot of pictures and it beats carrying around a small pocket camera like I used to do. So, for me I need a smartphone and certainly couldn't go back to a basic phone if they paid me.
