Title: insect bites

I got a nasty bite about 5 days ago.
I had one last year too.
there is a joke people will tell you.
"you're just sweet."
that is little comfort when you experience the pain, redness and swelling of an insect bite.
I didn't see the insect so I don't know what bit me.

People have told me "You're just too sweet." :)

I live in VA, and yeah those insect bites can be nasty.

Try washing it often, if you have anti itch cream.

you have to be very careful with insect bites anymore they carry so many diseases and things --i live it KY and the bugs are bad here and with not have much of a winter this year i feel it will be a terrible summer this year !

Being told, "You're just too sweet" is a bad joke! It's like laughing at someone when a bad thing has happened to him or her.

Nothing at all funny about bugs that bite, I moved 1000 miles back to Minnesota from southern OK because of stuff that bites. My poor dogs could not go out and roll in the grass in my yard because of fire ants, my poor little scotty Madison got a tick with some strange nasty crap the killed her I got bite by a spider and dang near went goofy having to deal with a infected leg that wouldn't heal. And I have had a horse that got west nile even after the shots.  .... I hate all bugs !! The snow has no teeth so I'm staying where the bugs are a little nicer.
