We are suppose to get 12 to 18 inches!  My tulips are coming up, I was do excited last week, our temperatures were in the high 60's thought spring was right around the corner, that was stupid!  Instead of thinking lawnmower  here comes the snow blower!

I read about the latest Northeaster. To those who will be impacted, be safe (and do not be on the road, unless you actually have to).

WOW!!!! I live in GA. and we just now got the coldest winter yet, its been for the last 3 months almost like summer, today it got really cold and raining, winds blowing along with the rain made it so cold,, now I'm getting a sore throat from just being out there for a few minutes from leaving the church in the country. All winter long, supposedly, we have been reaching tempts of almost 80 degrees. Now in March its cold, wet, tempts today no higher than in the 40's.

I''m definitely ready for spring. I hope the storm isn't as bad as they say, but it would be good to be off work for a day and get paid for it.

Here in South Jersey we are under a snow warning. Predicted totals 8-12". We are all hunkered down. My husband went to the grocery store yesterday morning, today it will be nuts.
This is crazy as Monday is the first day of spring!

We didn't get any when they last predicted it, but today I woke up to just a little bit of snow on the ground.

Not bad at all. Whew!

Wow!  Sorry to hear about these wintry blasts.  We've had some cool air push down south with heavy rains, but we'll be climbing up into the 60s for a few days.  So lucky not to see at least one ice storm in our future.  Sure looks like we're through with winter. :rose: :rose: :rose:

I'm in Virginia and we are supposed to get some snow. Surprisingly more than I thought, with it this late in the winter. I don't know though, we will see if we actually get any.

Sounds like Minn. isn't really getting it too bad - I heard NY is due for 26 inches!!  That amount in that city will cause everything to stop dead in its tracks.  I will say a pray for all those who will be affected.

Oh my god! I am half excited, half scared about the snow. I like when it snows but it was so crowded at the supermarket today... also, I hope that not many people get injured due to the snow! Stay safe!  :snowman:

I see the snow storm on the east coast.... looks crazy.  Stay Safe wherever you are.

Here it was a nice 90'...  tomorrow will be the same.  Calm with a bunch of people in shorts... California living, expensive & crowded, but the weather is awesome most of the time.  :)

The alert I received for North Texas today:

" ...FROST ADVISORY will expire at 10 am CDT this morning... Temperatures have risen in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Thus the Frost Advisory will be allowed to expire at 10 AM."

I'm almost embarrassed to post this in light of the fact that so many in the Northeast are battling blizzard-like conditions.  Please stay safe and warm!  :-[

Consider yourself lucky!  It didn't hit that bad in my area of northern Ohio, but it was enough to close the schools down. My daughter had to spend the entire day sitting bored at a side table in my office!  She did do some homework that is due later this week at school and made me a nifty crayon colored bookmark!
