It was staged Like last year. They just want everyone to blog about it. Which we are doing right now. 8)

I watched it and kanye's just proved he's more of a disrespectful idiot than I originally thought.

i didn't watch it, but i'm not surprised at what i've heard and seen on youtube. kanye's already known for acting like that and saying things at the wrong place, wrong time. i'm really not a fan of his, never have been.

Kanye has proven once again that he must have skipped school the day they learned about common decency and manners.
Many kudos to Beyonce for making it right, even if Taylor's "first VMA" is now tarnished thnks to Kanye's stupidity.

I don't know nor care if it was staged or not. It was just plain RUDE! I watched it along with my daughters one of who loves Taylor Swift's music, and my 7 year old daughter even said that was uncalled for. Was it entertaining, NO. So if it was staged that's really petty & small of MTV. If it wasn't then that was small & petty on Kanye's part. I guess Mr. one hit wonder needed some more uncalled air time.

True Kanye West did a very disrespectful thing but in reality, how many of us don't interrupt others when they speak. I really shouldn't see a single person say that I'm wrong in saying that because we all know it's true. The only reason we care that he did it is because his actions are followed by the media so closely.

Whether it was staged or heat of the moment, (and since Taylor was emotionally effected, I highly doubt it was staged) he's not the only one to have ever done such a thing and last I checked, no one ever spoke about someone else (non-"important" person) interrupting another so why fuss about this?

I didn't watch it but when i heard about it the next morning i went and watched it on you tube. It was rude and ridicules and there was for sure no reason for it. Who does something like that even if you have another opinion. Did anyone watch Jay Leno he talked to kayne about it and what his mother would have said about his behavior. Eventually he wont have any fans.

leno hit him in the soft spot with a "how would your
mother have felt about that stunt?" type of question.

He never should have done that and I think that Jay Leno hit him where it counts. It was a great question and Kanye couldn't say anything because he know what a screw up he was.

I'm not a Taylor Swift fan but I just think of her mother so proud of her daughter at that moment then fuming because some *bleep* steals her thunder. I don't care what kind of shape he's in Taylor's momma should of punched him in the throat!!

I turned over to the vma's and saw Lady Gaga's performance and that was enough for me. I didn't watch anymore.

I didn't watcch the show, but I saw a video clip later of Kanye's rudeness. What is the world coming to? You'd think that would have been stopped before it happened. I think there wasa totally no excuse for his behavior. :)

the drink got to him any one that drinks that much is going to do stupid stuff and i think that it would not have had happened if he wasent drunk and also dont let this out burst define the person becasue we dont know what type of person he really is and he hasent been the same since his mom died any ways i think he is hiding the pain he needs time off and he needs a break and sober up

anyone who actually saw it could tell IT WAS NOT STAGED! give me a break. did you see the look on beyonce and taylor's faces. they were in total shock. he is an a$$! he ruined that young girls first vma award speach. he should be removed from any of those awards shows. he should not be allowed to be nominated for anything.
what i wanna know is where was security that he was able to just walk onstage.
beyonce did make up for it though even though she had nothing to do with it. but even so it still ruined the moment for taylor and that was not fair.
i was glad to hear they kicked him out! he didnt even get to see beyonce win a bigger award for the same video he was throwing his hissy over. dumb a**
