Which do you do more, texting or actual talking on the phone. Which do you prefer? I text more then anything, I prefer that.
-
I prefer texting over talking.
-
Texting overall since most of my friends live long distance.
-
when i am not busy i like to text, but when it comes to a quick phone call for somethings,i call or answer the phone. sometimes like calling a friend who is in rehab after being so sick i like to visit by phone it is more personal. Besides she gets lonely being out of town and no friends where she is. So the personal phone calls every couple of days helps her get through the days.
-
I usually like to text. There's a very small group of people I enjoy talking on the phone too. One of my friends has 3 kids so it's easier for her to talk instead of text.
-
I would rather text. I don't really like talking on the phone.
-
i'd rather talk... i've had one too many misunderstanding over a text that didn't come out right or got taken wrong by one side or the other.
-
yes. talking is way better. your understood better. texting is misleading. especially when angry and trying to get a point across
-
i prefer to text. Never been a huge talker on the phone.
-
I probably text more as sometimes I just need a quick answer but don't have time to have a long phone conversation
-
Text if the person is busy and can't answer the phone.
-
Talking. I can speak "30 texts" in about 5 minutes. Texting just tells me, too lazy to make a quick phone call. If you don't need to make a phone call, I don't see the need to text unless it is directions, money order number, or something like that.
-
I like talking over texting, but if i am at work or doing something then texting it is
-
I like to talk the best. unlimited talk unlimited text.
-
i find that texting is a way of not wanting to communicating with someone over actually speaking to them over the phone, but i wouldn't have no choice if it's something that has to be said than typing 50 lines of text.
-
I text and talk!
-
It depends on my mood. Sometimes I do not feel like talking on the phone but I want to make contact with the person, so I will text, but I think talk takes more effort and shows more interest then texting.
-
I prefer to text more than talk. It;s easier and more convenient. I talk when needed lol. I heard someone say that people think you brought a phone so that they can reach you but I brought it for my convenience not yours lol.
-
I vastly prefer texting, I would almost never talk if I had my way, it stresses me out for some reason. I can express myself so much better by writing than by speaking.
-
Being of the older generation, it's sometimes hard to adapt to all this new technology, but I admit, I do love texting. It's so quick and easy. My children and grandchildren will respond to a text so much quicker than a phone call. If you have a question or some business to attend to, texting can be quick and efficient, and I don't feel like I am interrupting their lives. But if the communication involves a long explanation or a personal touch, calling is by far better.
-
I have to say I text more because my family lives across the country and in totally different time zones than my own so it's easier to send a text than to try and call them and wind up waking them up where they think it's some kind of family emergency.
-
I prefer texting, convenient and you can say what you want to say but if its mom calling is the best.
-
I like to talk then are are not miss understanding on attitude.
-
It depends on the party. I prefer to text business contacts. But, when it comes to friends & family, it's usually quicker to make a call, than type out a huge block of text.
-
I'm almost never comfortable talking on the phone - feels really uncomfortable for whatever reason. I prefer texting SO much more over talking on the phone. If I want to talk to someone with voice, I prefer to have video as well. So usually with friends it's either texting or Skyping with video.
-
Definitely texting, for both
-
Talk with really good friends. Text with people I am not so close to.
-
I prefer talking if I need to do something quickly, but I still find myself texting or IMing people most frequently, especially when I'm multitasking. Especially for work purposes, the text/IM is my audit trail too as my calls aren't recorded.
-
I talk and text. I like both really depends on my mood if im lonely Ill call people if i am bored and busy ill text.
-
Text the short *bleep*. But a long talk is nice sometimes
-
I would much prefer to talk over texting. However my children and grandchildren text me all the time and I text back. Sometimes I call them and let them know that it is nice to hear their voice sometimes.
-
I like talk more, but sometime I'm busy just give a short breviations to my friends and family.
-
I definitely prefer to text.
-
I don't text at all
-
If that person is beside me, of course i will talk to them but generally if it is a sensitive and important matter i will just brief it for that person and wait till we meet to discuss it live with that person

Which do you do more, texting or actual talking on the phone. Which do you prefer? I text more then anything, I prefer that.
I love TEXTING because there is a record of what was discussed. This comes in handy especially when I need to remember dates, times, details. Also, texting is great for a quick message that doesn't need an immediate response. Or Texing is great for GROUP texts.
I love TALKING when I want to hear the person's voice.

I prefer talking over texting too, but my phone is always running with ads and whatnot, it's much easier to text.
