Title: Oatmeal for Dinner
Post by: sherryinutah on May 12, 2017, 06:17:59 pm
Oatmeal for dinner is only one thing I experience that makes me a little bit different than a typical person.

We all have certain tendencies that make us unique and I live outside the box.  Some people would call me weird or abnormal but I feel everyone is unique.

What are some of the things that make you very unique?

I also enjoy paying bills and that's a little bit unusual too.

Your turn.  Go!

The thing about breakfast foods is you can eat them anytime.

I frequently eat yogurt, berries, and oatmeal for dinner...  one of the meals I "get" to eat on my daily meal plan.

Oatmeal is good for your heart, so oatmeal anytime is a wise choice.  You should eat some sort of protein with it.. if you don't already.  Try mixing egg whites in with the oatmeal.   Makes it a fat burning meal.

I too love pizza for breakfast, oatmeal with dried cranberries and brown sugar for supper.

Also love cold parmesan chicken for a morning start.

If your a person who likes Oatmeal.... you need to try this brand and you'll never switch again.

It's in the the other oat meal in a square box with a blueish band around the box and its called Naked  and its a quick fix type  and is organic  this is the best oatmeal hands down, I eat it any time of day with sliced bananas some real maple syrup and a splash of half and half!!

Oatmeal anytime is a good choice and so many things can be added to it for variety.  My mom eats it everyday so I keep at least two boxes in the house.  I always use Quaker but I might try Naked.

I like Raisin Bran for meals too.  Oatmeal is great with craisins or raisins added.  I also like adding walnuts.

Popcorn is a favorite supper for me.

I walk my cat on the leash walking down the sidewalk. I also take her for rides in my car, she has a place so she can look out of the of the side windows she has enough chain to get into my trunk through the folded down back seat. She is so cute, cruelty-free because she loves it.

I sometimes eat oatmeal for  supper or dinner.  If i have had a bad day with  my system out of  kilter it seems to sooth it.  Hubby is very understanding about it and will scrounge in the fridge and find him something to eat.

I had left over pizza for breakfast and cereal for dinner plenty of times, but never deliberately planned to do so...I've eaten unusual things for breakfast/dinner (when I needed to go grocery shopping) cause there was nothing else to eat in the house.

I do not like oat meal for breakfast or any other meal. The fact is that I just don't like the taste of oat meal. Even as a child when my mom fixed it for breakfast I would make myself some toast to eat instead.

I've made oats soup for dinner before, it's like chowder but uses oats instead of potatoes.

There were times when my mom would ask " how do you feel about cereal for dinner?"
Sundays used to be the day when we ate our big meal at 2pm or 3pm.
We sometimes had company over for dinner.

This sounds really good.  I like oatmeal anytime...it is quick and easy when I am tired so you are hot so weird.

Wow interesting question and I don't know how to answer it.   I have extremely long hair and while I am sure that isn't unheard of in women my age (60's) it also isn't real prevalent either.  Also I have a hoop piercing in my nose.  So I guess those two things somewhat make me unique.  I don't eat oatmeal for dinner but I do like paying bills.  It is the first thing I do when I get my monthly income but if I didn't have enough to pay them it might not be so enjoyable.  I have had lean times like that when my family was young.

I eat oatmeal for dinner often!  I have a bowl every morning and if by some small chance that I don't have to cook dinner for my husband, I will fix me another bowl of oatmeal for dinner.  I love the Kroger brand Brown Sugar instant oatmeal.  I have eaten it so much that I don't even like the Quaker Oats brand any longer.
