What is a disqualification bonus?
are the bonus separate from our regular earnings? I'm trying to learn the ropes. I apologize for asking so many questions. I am just trying to understand how this all works.

First thing, there are no silly questions and you can ask as many as you need to ask in order to understand how it all works. The disqualification bonus is when you attempt a survey and after a few questions it turns out you aren't the demographic they're looking for you might be disqualified. It's usually a penny for that disqualification but you don't necessarily get it on all surveys.

thank you for being so helpful. I really appreciate it.

Just want to welcome you to Fusion Cash. This is a great site. I have been with FC for years and so glad for the site. We, veteran, members are here to help. Ask away. :)

thank you boston phil. much appreciated. thanks for the welcome.

Bonuses do add to your total earnings but don't count for the minimum of $15 in offers you need to cashout
It's better to ask questions so you can learn the site than risk losing money because you didn't know something

no silly question at all. Most (but not all) surbeys here give your 1cent when you get disqualified... like the cash out link says, https://www.fusioncash.net/cashout.php, you need 25usd to cash out and it has to be at least 15 dollars that you earned (doing whatever on this site), but that does not include these 1cents, and daily emails, and forum earning... which is all considered a "bonus", because it is "easy money" that you are just 'winning' and not 'earning'.
Just a lot of patience... and BTW : welcome to FC!

I am glad you asked. There are a lot of newbies on here that don't ask questions and think the money is just gonna appear in their account. I see you have also put your signature on the posts so others can see what you earn. :)

Keep doing the surveys. Those disqualification bonuses really add up. It is nice they give you something for trying. :)

Katie, good for you! Coming to the forum to ask questions is the best way to get your answers quickly, and everyone here is so helpful. We all have questions, and what may sound silly to you, may be exactly what someone is is wondering. So now, you may have done him/her a favor. Those disqualification bonuses are usually a penny, but occasionally they are more. I've even had a fifteen center. That will happen only if you have spent an unusually long time on a survey before you are disqualified. It's always nice to be compensated for your time spent.

This is great to know! I am usually not in the demographic and I am wondering what in the world are the companies looking for?? I am an average American, or so I thought!

I have been a cushion member for six years and I just started posting to the forum. Can't believe I waited so long.

Welcome to FC. There are no silly questions, especially when you are new. I think your question has been answered so no need for me to repeat the answer. But you came to the right place to ask.

Welcome and those pennies add up

A disqualification bonus is the money you receive when you don't qualify for a survey. There are no silly questions. Welcome aboard.
-
No question is ever silly here! It's actually a very good question for someone who is just starting out like yourself. You actually get paid for not qualifying, not bad for a quick one! lol ... It's only 1 cent but hey, it adds up! :D
