Do you shop at either if these stations? I just read QVC is buying HSN wonder how that will change things. I used to watch and buy, but haven't in years.

I like them both but don't watch nearly as much as I used to. The reason: simply less temptation so I have cut this spending quite a bit. As far as how things will change, I haven't a clue. Maybe not much, just reduced competition for QVC and more revenue. What will be interesting is if it translates into lower prices for the consumer. Somehow, I doubt it.

I read a facebook comment from a q v c host that said they ow have 3 channels. Q v c has bee I producing a lot of new hosts.

I like both of them. I watch some every few day. I just ordered something from HSN and was satified with it. I have also ordered things from QVC and like them too. ;D

I used to buy from both. I haven't watched them since the '90s. Too tempting. :) It was nothing for me to spend $1000 alone for Christmas and birthdays for 4 adults. Then there were the grandkids.
Don't do it anymore. Sneaked a peak at them both a couple weeks ago. Don't know anyone on there and didn't like the ones I watched. Seemed like they didn't know anything about the products!

Probably with a merger the prices will go up, less competition! I have never really watched any of the tv shopping channels. Mike Rowe of Dirtiest Jobs started out on one of those channels during down time from his Opera career.

How many remember CVN (the Cable Value Network) from back in the 80's? I remember my mother & grandmother watching and ordering from them when I was little.

I prefer qvc to hsn . I didn't know qvc had purchased hsn.that shold be intersting :rainbow: :rose: :peace: :wave:

I personally don't watch either of them but my mom loves both of them and has gotten some cool stuff.
