Title: Amazons Alexia

Does anyone have this and what are your thoughts?  Amazon is suppose to have a good sale on this tomorrow, and I'm thinking of getting one.

I have 3 Alexa Echo Dots.... the ones that look like a hockey puck.
I use it everyday for the time & for the weather.... I set timers with it & use it to play radio stations.
They are awesome.  I also have them connected to by thermostat & to my HUE light system... so they can control my lights & thermostat on command.

If they have them reduced tomorrow, get one.  I got one during black friday for $29.
I wish I could control everything with an Alexa... tv & the stove would be awesome.

I think all those "smart" devices are stupid. People can't do anything for themselves nowadays! Anyway, I don't have wireless internet, so it wouldn't work for me.

Do you have kids? I saw a newsclip on TV about a little girl who walked up to an amazon Alexa and said she wanted a new doll house and some cookies and Alexa ordered them for her, shipped the stuff and charged her mom. Her mom had to go through the hassle of returning everything.

I may get one only when they are fully functional for Canada.
