Title: Do you have a tape measure?
Post by: snuggleycutejc on July 14, 2017, 03:00:27 pm: This one tool always gets out the toolbox and never goes back to the box. I have several and I pick them up when they are offered free like today! lol, well I got a free one today from the handyman store here because today is Happy Tape Measure Day! have a gr8 day :present:

I also have sewing tape measures for sewing.

It comes in handy once in a while, when you need flexibility in your measuring tool.

LOL...Same thing happens in my house. The measuring tape is always missing.

The ones that come in sewing kits are hard to fold up small.
I have three of the ones that "snap up in a roll"
There are some that have tiny numbers that are hard to see.

haha ... I thought the same thing .. Guess it is a marketing gimmick to get ppl into the home improvement stores.

We have had times where we are on to a job and guess what? No tape measure is in our vehicle. It's in the other vehicle. Now we have to go to a hardware store and pick up another one. ::)

Now we have multiple tapes in our vehicles along with a new and improved check list of equipment. ;)

It's in my handicrafts bag that I bring with me whenever I am getting together with friends just to chat or travelling on a train or bus to have something to do with my hands.

Harbor Freight seems to offer free a free tape measure with purchase practically every week... they are pretty good quality too :)
