Only English
-
One language. And I am not sure what that is. :-[
-
Only one, when I learn Hello, and good bye in another; I feel important. I have tried to learn others but always the word's meanings ends up someone thinks, example; I said, 'go eat ears' and no did not mean that. :angel11:

I only speak one language, English.
I just saw a video of a FOUR YEAR OLD who speaks and reads SEVEN languages!!!
I think we should teach Spanish or Mandarin in schools starting at Pre-K rather than waiting until the kids are in high school.
-
2 - English of course and German. Cannot read or write German but can speak it pretty good. My 4 grandparents all came from Germany and although they all spoke English, German was primarily spoken in their homes. So all the cousins (that were older), really all learned it. The younger cousins, not so much, by that time English was spoken more in their homes.

English my second language, my mother tongue is Russian. I teach both my children Russian but it is really hard when they have 8 hours in American school((

Pretty much English only for me. I know words and phrases from lots of languages, but can't hold a conversation to save my life.
So it's one unless computer languages count.

Just English. I took French in high school but don't remember too much. I would love to learn Japanese.
-
English is the only language I speak. Languages are not my thing. I hada tough time with Spanish in school :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

Just 1 English that's all I need.

only English

I speak only English now. Growing up, I studied German and even lived in Germany for a year while a student and at that time I spoke well enough to get along in daily life but not well enough to understand everything in my classes at the college level. I have forgotten almost all the German now though.

I only speak English and I know a little Spanish. After I finish school I want to get serious about learning how to speak Spanish. I may try one of those systems that they always advertise on T.V.
-
English and French. A tiny bit of Spanish and Creole. Learning ASL.
-
Just one well - English - I know some Spanish but am very rusty....
-
Just English, I took French in high school but without ever having been serious about it or having people to practice with, I've forgotten pretty much all of it. It probably would've served me better to know a little Spanish but I thought French sounded prettier.
-
I only speak English and really have no desire to learn another language. As a matter of fact, it irritates me to see instructions in 3 or 4 languages on products.
-
English. But my Grandparents taught me a few phrases in Italian.
-
2 (English and Russian) and learning French
-
Just english here.
-
Two languages, I can never pick up a third. Those foreign language classes in HS were useless. I wish they start teaching us in grade school.
-
Just English for me

English and Body Language are enough for me, but I do know very little Spanish.
