Title: craft fair.
Post by: Azanne07 on July 26, 2017, 04:24:14 pm
If you went to a craft fair, and there was a crochet booth. What kind of items would you be looking to purchase?

I have 2 months to come up with inventory for a craft sale, my first one

and I am really over whelmed. I search for patterns find a ton and then have a hard time deciding what others might want to buy.

Where is the best place to find what people like, from people themselves.

So post pictures post your opinion because all posts will be taken into consideration. the Oct fair is Oct 7th.

Almost anything. Honestly, as long as you had fun making it. Stuffed toys, patterns/designs, etc.

My sister-in-law used to run a series of craft fairs through her company. I used to make handmade greeting cards all the time with my wife. Eventually she sold her business.

I do have lots of  fun making my crocheted items. I am in love with the crochet scarf pattern but I know I just cant make the one item.

I started making these flower head bands last night and they are freaking awesome looking. I am so happy with how they are turning out.

I wish I had the skills to make crafts. I admire people who do craft work and I enjoy going to craft fairs as well. I always see a lot of nice and unique things that I would like for my home.

Weavings materials, the kind I do is making blankets, bracelets, place mates just tying knots with colorful yarns & string. Also, making colorful pictures & landscapes using colorful strips of paper. Example a picture of a flower, instead of coloring it with crayons use crumpled strips of colored paper (crumpled in ball form) & glue it in the picture. This is the only easy things I can think of. Hope it helps.  Lol! Sorry, I've always failed in crochet!

I think baby blankets sell well. Also, my daughters had little crocheted blankets for their dolls that I think my mother-in-law got at a craft fair.

I wish I had the time. but it was last minute. I love making blankets. Maybe over the winter when I can stock up for next year depending on how this year goes.
