Any ladies out there wearing wigs these days for whatever reason. I
just purchased another one this weekend that I am going to ease into
My hair regimen. It took three times going to different wig shops to find
one I would be happy with.
They have so many styles to choose from.
I am glad we have options to wear wigs whether for a change of hair style or for health reasons.

I agree. Wigs are great. My sister (may she rest in peace) wore a very nice wig while she was going through chemotherapy for cancer and continued wearing it until she died. She said it gave her a lot of confidence and made her feel like she was looking good even though she was very ill.

When I went through chemo I was so thankful for wigs. Now they look so real, people can't tell if they are wigs or your hair. It seriously made going through chemo a whole lot easier, it gave me my confidence to go out and not feel that people were looking at me.

I wear them to work. ohno a secret love mine. I just can't take chemicals on my hair anymore just good oils etc...and wigs makes more styles and colors lol so everyone knows because of the style and colors. I can even deny that I am wearing them too lol.

My niece loves wigs. She has several now.

Hi ladies, I washed and braided my hair last night and tried on my wig again. So today I will be wearing it out in public so I can get use to it. Wed, I will be wearing it to work for the first time. I am looking forward to
Looking better than I do without the wig.

I know many ladies that wear wigs, they look great on them and they look so natural.

I love wigs and extensions. There are so many options that we have with changing our hairstyles. It's a fun way to change it up.

yes! i have three --with my Lupus i am losing my hair fast so i wanted to start finding some i really liked and be comfortable wearing them when the time comes

Wigs were really popular in the 1970's. I use to wash and style them for my friends. One of my friends has really thin hair and her wig looked better than her real hair. I was happy for her.

Wigs have come a long way from when I was growing up. Back then, you could spot a wig from a mile off. Now days, you can't tell the difference. I have a friend with thin hair who bought a wig just for fun, and it looks absolutely great on her.

I too remember my mom wearing wigs they were big when I was growing up today they are so fashionable that you can't tell if someone is wearing one
-
I think they look great on people, sometimes you cannot even tell it's a wig the hair looks so natural; I have just never been able to get into them for me personally; but wish I could, they do give you options to change your look.

I think wigs are not cool at all. I just think natural hair is the best looking.
-
I don't have to wear them, but I do love them!

I used to way back years ago but that was just a phase I went thru.

A lot of women use to do this and I think it was because they felt like they had to. But more and more you see women who are bald. I worked with a woman who went that route. Wigs are find if you want to wear one but I think it is horrible that any woman would be made to feel like she had to wear one to feel accepted. : (

My mother also wore a nice wig during chemo, i have gave locks of love hair 2 times to make wigs it really makes you feel good.

Yes, wigs are the easiest way to get a glamorous hairstyle fast. I wear them when I want a new look or want to take a break from my natural hair. Wigs make it easy to wake up in the morning and go.

I hope I never have to wear one buy I did have a couple years ago

I guess I've been brainwashed. Growing up I had this implanted in my head that people that wear wigs do so cause they are to lazy to do there hair. I don't know anyone on a personal level that wears a wig (not that I know of anyway) I did know a woman that had a wig designed exactly like her hair style. This B-hive up do. To this day she still wears her hair like that.

I haven't worn one since I was in my twentys

You never know. I have seen people with a wig on and had no idea it was a wig.

I love wearing wigs for cosplay. Sometimes they get uncomfortable after a while but it's fun to see what I look like with different hair colors :)

Yes, I do but mostly the lace front ones which do not look like a wig.

My mom wore a wig during when she was going thru chemo. Now that she has passed away, I have it in my closet for keepsake.

Why wear wigs, just go natural....

I have a 16 year old grand daughter who has very long hair.
She is planning to have it cut to be made into a wig for someone with cancer.
Her own idea. Very proud of her.
